Horde Dialogue on Dragonflight Alpha Also References a Time Skip (Spoilers)

Last week, we reported on some hidden dialogue between Genn Greymane and Mathias Shaw, touching on hints of a possible short time skip between Dragonflight and Shadowlands. More clues about this time skip have been found, this time on the Horde side!
WARNING: POSSIBLE DRAGONFLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD!
Before, the only way to witness this dialogue was to replay the introduction questline to Dragonflight with a character who had already played it on a previous alpha build. However, Twitter user
Portergauge
has been able to find the dialogue again on new characters. What's more, Horde NPCs also mention the time skip.
On the Alliance side, the dialogue between Turalyon and Greymane discussing the time skip remains the same
as previously reported
. On the Horde side, the fact that "several years" have passed between the Horde forces returning from the Shadowlands and now is mentioned in a conversation between Lor'themar Theron and First Arcanist Thalyssra. From this conversation, we also learn Lor'themar and Thalyssra are married!
Lor'themar Theron says: Several years have passed quietly since our forces returned from the shadowlands.
First Arcanist Thalyssra says: Indeed. We were fortunate to have even a brief respite from the usual perils and tribulations.
First Arcanist Thalyssra says: Otherwise, you might have come up with an excuse to refuse my proposal.
Lor'themar Theron says: Your proposal? I am quite certain it was I who begged for your hand in marriage, Thalyssra.
First Arcanist Thalyssra says: Lor'themar Theron! You are such a creature of duty that you would have delayed our wedding over a crooked painting in Silvermoon.
First Arcanist Thalyssra says: How fortunate I am that both our kingdoms witnessed our vows. Else you might try to deny that we ever exchanged them.
To see this, we needed to accept the quest that takes us to the Waking Shores, abandon it, then head to the new Zepplin tower near Orgirmmar docks to accept the quest from Kodethi. This only worked if we didn't actually begin the Waking Shores questline.
While we were skeptical before, it's looking more and more that a short time skip will, indeed, occur between the end of Shadowlands and the beginning of Dragonflight - though of course, it's still important to remember "several" usually means not many, but more than two. And, of course, anything can still change of the alpha.
