With Blizzard at gamescom, various sites and influencers are conducting interviews about
Patch 7.3
! First up is an interview with Game Director Ion Hazzikostas and TradeChat.
Here are some of the interview highlights, check out the video for even more information:
Ion personally is looking forward to the
story quests
in Patch 7.3 the most. Fans of the Suramar experience will enjoy the storytelling in the Argus end-game zones.
Lots of
catch-up mechanics
are coming in Patch 7.3, including a new
currency for ilvl 910 tokens
, BOA Unsullied Tokens, everyone AK 41 upon logging in, all relics unlocked, and no Broken Shore quests for Concordance.
Nothing really new on the horizon for legendaries in Patch 7.3. Blizzard did have two regrets at the launch of Legion, which they think they've improved upon: droprates too stingy at the start, and large gaps in the power and effectiveness of legendaries.
You can use relics you have stockpiled before Patch 7.3 on the
Netherlight Crucible
.
Antorus
is the final "Big raid" of Legion; while Ion wouldn't directly say it was the final raid, he said it was unlikely there'd be a small Ruby Sanctum type raid. Ion did say there is still more story to tell in Legion though!
The
Pesadelo Lúcido
should be available for secret-finders to puzzle through at 7.3's launch.
Even
more cinematics
are on the way in Patch 7.3 which haven't been seen on the PTR yet!
