Upcoming Changes to Tailoring in Shadowlands Patch 9.2

Tailoring in Shadowlands 9.2 will see the following changes. Not all recipe sources are known at this time.

Protofibra Sedosa - New cloth reagent from Zereth Mortis. These are looted primarily from Spiders and Worms.
Marca do Artesão IV and Marca do Artesão dos Primogênitos - new Optional Reagents to set minimum level of crafted gear to 60 and iLevel to 233 and 262 respectively. Similar to the Marca do Artesão da Ilha Acorrentada, the Marca do Artesão dos Primogênitos creates an item that is Unique-Equipped, so only one piece with this Optional Reagent may be worn at any one time. Marca do Artesão IV will likely replace the Marca do Artesão da Ilha Acorrentada, since it creates an item 3 levels higher that does not have the Unique-Equipped restriction. You will be able to purchase these recipes from Vilo, the Quartermaster for The Enlightened faction in Zereth Mortis with Friendly and Honored reputation respectively.

Neither bag is "new" in terms of size. There are already many 30-slot and 32-slot bags already in the game that are much more cost effective to make, particularly early on in the expansion when material costs will be at a premium.

Both bags use more resources than other tailoring options at their level. This will depend somewhat on how many materials you have at your disposal, but Bandagem de Tecido Amortalhado in particular is not a good choice if your plan is to get through leveling as efficiently as possible. Bandagem de Tecido Amortalhado uses 20 Tecido Amortalhado per combine and Capa de Tecido Amortalhado uses 4.

I'm so sad....tailors are getting short-shrift again. ANOTHER expansion with no need to make the new bags and no mount accessory - I was SO disappointed by the SADDLE BLANKET fiasco. Really - hoofplates and bardings for other crafters and a worthless...as in not even cosmetic...saddle blanket for tailors. Leatherworkers make mail AND leather...smh. And when we could craft high end armor, the crafter is on the only one who can wear it?...if you're going to restrict that, please make it account bound for pity's sake.

Shadowlace is item lvl 151 base - what am i missing here? will be base 165 with crafter's mark? if so should we call that base?

Very confusing guide. The use of the word "combine" in the leveling section baffles me to no end ;)

Also, no mention of any good farm spots for cloth, too bad.

Anyone here wanna recommend a good camp of humanoids?

Shadowlace Cloak from 75 to 80, it's a 1200+ gold recipe that requires a rep to buy for 5 skill points, how is it a step in a leveling guide?

Don`t buy Fio da Penumbra in Shadowlands.It costs 5 gold there if you are neutral or friendly with the faction where you are buying it,which most of us currently are.Go back to Boralus if you are exalted with Proudmoores and it will cost 4 gold.Same goes for horde-go back to your BfA capital :)

edit: unfortunatelly,Blizz did what Blizz does the best - raised the prices.So,regular price is 9,and it is 7.20 when you go to where you are exalted.

All of the Green Shrouded cloth armor now cost more penumbra thread to make. I can not find where they did this on any hotfix patch but it should be updated.

I have looked at a couple Shadowlands Tailoring guides and none of them can point me in the right direction on where to even get the craftable legendary item recipes... one part of wowhead says its trained from the trainer and that is not true... I'm max tailoring in Shadowlands and the trainer does not have any of the legendary recipes to train.

Now that the Dragonflight expansion is pending, they really need to allow us to vendor these. The lower ranks just don't sell on the AH anymore.
