the best expansions were vanilla-wrath mainly because they were more attached to the main factors of azeroth and that its the alliance vs. horde, scourge and the legion. so is it possible that we can one day return to outlands and explore new content?

Probably going to see a return of the Burning Legion next expansion. Kil'jaeden was never actually defeated, only stopped from being summoned from their world to Azeroth.

There is an Outland revamp in the works.
However, the next expac will probably be the Great Sea one with Queen Azshara, the Isle nations; Kul Tiras, Kazan, and the rest, the Murloc God thing, and whatever else is hidden away under the ocean.
Then if 'final' expansion is the Legion, we'll see them then.

sounds like a great idea though wouldn't they have to do something with the scourge first? from what i think maybe sylvanas might have some huge attack soon and she is only using the horde as a tool. blizzard says they have something special for the knights of the ebon blade as well so id probably see a scourge comeback then a legion to wrap it up. make kil'jaiden destroy all of outlands with us hero's in it. make it were we sacrificed ourselves so the demons cant go through. epic ending.blizzard could then make a diablo mmo and come back to wow later once we have more lore. probably make a warcraft series.
BTW by more lore i mean like more characters and stuff not a whole new story entirely (cata-pandaria-./facepalm)

come back to wow later once we have more loreThere is still so much lore that hasn't been touched; it's not even close to the end of the World of Warcraft.
