"Is really bad". All your offhand attacks are not special (well, whirlwind now are).
Just check most high end fury warriors and you will see that everyone have over 200 hit rating.
with BT/Hyjall-gear a normal setups is around 2k AP, 215 hit, 34% crit, not buffed. This is also the reason that some warriors choose leather instead of plate, as rogue-gear usually have a nice amount of hit.
You are wrong, just check Elitist Jerks forums.
Concentrating on hit is a waste, and it's not because someone has BT/MH gear he automatically knows how to play.
PS: A warrior wearing leather is a warrior that should learn how to play. I'm not saying 1 or maybe 2 pieces of leather will make a difference, but a warrior also often has to offtank a mob on some unlucky pulls and the armor makes a difference.

No you're wrong. Crit and Hit are independent of one another. If you have a 30% Crit chance then you will crit 30% of your total swings regardless if the other 70% will Hit or Miss. The combat table works on absolutes. The combat dice roll does not need to land on "Hit" in order to "Crit".A possible source of confusion on this might be that the spell-hit table works differently.

how can you crit if you dont hit ?
Hit and crit do not work like that.
Let me give you an example.
If I have:
30% crit
60% hit
My attack table will look like:
10% miss
60% hit
30% crit
and it will NOT look like:
40% miss
30% hit
30% crit

Melee attack table :
http://www.wowwiki.com/Attack_table
how can you crit if you dont hit ?The melee hit table seems to be working on a "1 dice roll" system which determines if you hit, crit, miss, ... Since all the different outcomes are on the same table, the dice can only hit one of them.
Basically, you will indeed hit the mob each time the dice falls on normal hit or crit, and you will miss it each time the dice falls on miss, dodge, parry.
Basically, what you are calling hit (i'm doing something to the mob) is slightly different compared to what the attack table calls hit (a normal hit, excluding crit hits).
The spell hit table seems to be working on a "2 dices roll" system, where the first determines wether you hit or miss and the second wether it's a crit or not. (see
http://www.wowwiki.com/Spell_hit_rating
).
That's easier to understand when looking at things using common sense :) However it also means that your displayed crit rate is in fact diminished by your miss rate.
20% crit and 7% hit (which translates to 10% chance to miss) results in an effective crit rate of 18%.

I like the typical stats for BT/Hyjal. I tell warriors in Kara gear to get 1800AP, 150 hit, 30% crit as that is a lower for of what you said. All stats benefit the others.
