gratz on putting a leveling guide for priests. some classes such as warlocks were taken care of by people like Nefarion so it was about time priests got one too.

After standing firmly behind what Primar just said, I'd like to add a couple of points:
Mind Flay is really not very good untill lvl 36 (rank 3) if you have a good wand, or lvl 28 (rank 2) if you have a mediocre wand.
That said, the wisest thing you can do as a leveling shadowpriest is get
this wand
as early as possible. It's available at lvl 18. You won't be replacing that till lvl 40 when you get your
Umbral Wand
of Shadow Wrath, of Spirit or of the Whale.
And just to reiterate, for pve - Spirit Tap > Blackout. Also at lvl 70.
