This dungeon reveals the culminating story events and battles of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack. Join the legendary heroes Highlord Tirion Fordring, High Overlord Saurfang, Muradin Bronzebeard, Highlord Darion Mograine, and King Varian Wrynn in an epic battle against the Scourge and their master. Icecrown Citadel features 10- and 25-player versions of the raid dungeon, and each version has 12 encounters. Each encounter can be fought in either normal or Heroic mode, and players can use a new user interface feature to toggle easily between difficulties. The rewards in the raid dungeon start at item level 251 in the normal mode with 10-player encounters, increase to item level 264 in the Heroic mode mode with 10 players and the normal mode with 25-player encounters, and then finally reach item level 277 in the Heroic mode with 25 players. Off of
Icecrown Raid page.
So.... who want's to start the death bets?
5 to 1 its Fordring.
15 to 1 its Muradin.
30 to 1 its Darion.
100 to 1 its Saurfang.
1million to 1 its Wyrnn.
But, this might make sense about the whole Garrosh thing..... Saurfang goes down taking out the Lich King, which means he's not there to stop the brown-skinned idiot from taking over.

You know, if Saurfang sacrifices himself to kill The Lich King, that might give Varian a new insight on the Orcs...

Saurfang dying to save both the Horde and the Alliance, and Wrynn being touched by this act sounds like something cool. Also, I don't think Tirion will be dying anytime soon - he just feels like a character that is destined to be around and give you quests until
you
die. Muradin is a likely choice, I think, since he has this "borrowed life" motif around him. Darion may fly too, although killing the last of the Mograine's is probably a bad idea.

Heh, I mainly put Varian into the Death pool just because, I mean we all know he's around for Cataclysm, but still nice to have a joke in there. As for the others, I agree with Argent on everyone but Fordring; the Ashbringer is the opposite of Frostmourne, I could see a double kill there; Fordring cuts down the Lich King but he in turns drives Frostmourne deep in to the ancient Paladin's chest.
Of course the new Ashen Verdict, for the combination of the Ebon Blades and Argent Crusader's is a pretty cool name.

Varian says: "An Orc is a dead Orc."
I gues Muradin hopefully dies this time. Just like Akama? :P

Varian says: "An Orc is a dead Orc."
Maybe not if the aforementioned Orc saves his life in the process...

I could see a double kill there; Marudin crushes the Lich King but he in turns drives Frostmourne deep in to the ancient Dwarf's chest.
I could see a double kill there; Mograine cuts down the Lich King but he in turns drives Frostmourne deep in to the young Death Knight's chest.
There, fixed for the others heh.

this or
"He stole my bloody kill!"
I could imagine Fordring AND Darion. Its the all "What you were and what you are are killed you"- irony that i love :D
Edit: I could see a double kill there; Marudin crushes the Lich King but he in turns drives Frostmourne deep in to the main tanks chest.

Ya know, I kind of hope that it's Saurfang now, just so everyone can realize how truly awesome the Saurfang family is.

Sarfang wasn't killed by the Lich king. He was simply using overpower and cleave at the same time.
...
my joke weren't THAT bad....was it?

That.. doesn't make any god dam sense...
Yeah an orc dying in great combat is a thing of honor for them, but there more story to someone like Saurfang that we would see in the future, were as someone like Tirion, this would be his final stand against what he faught for, since killing the lich king is the final aspect of his story.
Saurfang is the alternate of Varian in icecrown, in that you can't kill Saurfang off for the same reason you can't kill Wrynn off. But someone like Darion, Tirion or Muradin you can, since this is more there story then Wrynns or Saurfangs.
Someone also forgot to mention Jaina on that list.

I already gave my thoughts about Saurfang dying in the General Discussion thread.
Saurfang represents the ultimate orcish warrior to me. The warrior spirit of the New Horde. You kill him, you kill the best example of the entire race.
And that's just demoralizing, even if it's an epic death.
Also, I looked it over, where exactly does it say one of them has to die?

Also, I looked it over, where exactly does it say one of them has to die?Because it's Blizzard, and they feel the need for the grand sacrifice? The orginal Mograine, Fordring's son, Bolvar, lots of other's too. Besides, as wussified as the Lich King is now, I can still see a death needed to finally bring him down. That's where they screwed up with Illidan, just having Maiev walk off after his death, as opposed to going down with her rage.
And it could be worse Skreeran, could have added in Sylvanas to the death pool heh.

I would much rather Sylvanas, Cairne, Vol'jin, Lor'themar, Tirion, Darion, Varian, Muradin, Rhonin, Jaina, or Malfurion die than Saurfang.
Saurfang is tied with Thrall for my favorite character ever.

Sylvanas, Varian, MalfurionWell none of them, as we know their in Cataclysm.
RhoninSues can't die.
And I've got the odds up for the others, and I only said Saurfang just because it would make sense for the reasons I said before.
