I did naxx last week I came for the last boss only, we downed him first try, lo and behold betrayer of humanity drops (finally!) with the added bonus there were only two 2h melee DPS, giving me a high chance of getting it.
I knew something bad would happen when he started doing the loot backwards, the items from the bottom were being rolled for first.
Then all of a sudden he gives half the loot to his friend and takes everything else for himself, despite the rolls.

I whispered him a few obscenities and he replied saying he would ticket it to me, I thought he was teasing me but early the next day I have it in my mailbox.
The character he ninja'd on turned out to be his alt, just goes to show that even people you think would never ninja probably would on an alt they don't really care about.

gratz on the loot.
what add-on are you using to get the "F" keys on your bar?

You can set the keybinds to whatever you like, I use a nostromo N52 and I use the red shift state for the F buttons, it works quite nicely.

yeah - i bind them, but i forget them if i move stuff around... I guess i could name the macros F1 F2 and such, but i switch from a mage to a ret pally often and having something already set up would rock.
thanks again.

Or maybe he just didn't want to get black listed and gave it up :D
As cynical as that sounds, it's probably the most likely case. We'd like to think he's being nice, but internet anonymity makes it easier for people to be complete jerks.

... And I find myself unable to bind abilities to mouse buttons, though that doesn't matter much.
I bind keys to my mouse buttons.
'' are bound to some buttons on the side of my mouse. I've bound an action button in game to '' then my mouse buttons work as the shortcut.
I don't know if that's how most people do it, but it works for me :)

Did you know you can also do this in the regular wow interface/keybinds?
Yes, without addons that is exactly what I use anyway, I just use bartender to keep my UI pristine and shiny.

Ticketing it to you still doesn't make it OK that he ninjaed it in the first place. It's like a nail in the fence: even if you take the nail out, the hole's still there.
Somewhat true, there was a DK that needed it also.
The right thing to do would be to have us group and roll for it, then ticket to the highest roller.
Still, it's better that he gave it to someone that needs it other than take it for himself.

Blacklisted, schmaklisted. I know two guys who used to CONSTANTLY ninja stuff, and yet they would ALWAYS find a group (even with the three or four "Ninja List: XXX" spammers in trade). The threats of being "reported" or "I'm gonna go QQ in Trade for a few minutes" are entirely nonexistent. The worst that can happen is you will get the inability to join any reputable guilds on the server... For the "Casual Ninja", thats still not much of a threat.
Not that I necessarily condone Ninja'ing, just saying that the "Blacklist" isn't all its cut out to be.
