Only thing I'd recommend kappa is that you make it a bit more clear that this is designed as an entry level introduction to the class based around solo play.
I wouldn't go so far as to say anything you've written is incorrect for instancing, but some of the pointers aren't really correct for the grouped warlock.
Overall very nicely done, I like the GoDM concept. I used this (although did'nt call it GoDM of course) to level my lock back in vanilla. Used my then main (paladin) to buy myself "of shadow wrath" gear and ran around dotting to all hell. Its a very hard balance to maintain, with enough spell damage gear stacked you can quite easily be running around with your entire hp pool going out, and coming in every few seconds.
Probably the hardest thing to ensure is that each mob you tag and dot, is killed before it de-aggroes. If you try this on mobs a few levels above you the dots won't kill it for a good 25 seconds. At this point you may have left the damn thing so far behind it evades off before you get credit for the kill.

Curse of Doom
It used to be favored for "critterspawning", or, casting Curse of Doom on a bunch of critters and, after a minute, would have a chance to give you the all-godly
Doomguard
. However, as of the recent patches, we cannot do this, forcing you to fight something that gives honor (so sad). This curse is basically your gift to the Death Knight or Retadin or Subtle Rogue about to kill you. Not to be used in combat mainly because you'll kill your target before a minute ends. Also, if a Doomguard
is
summoned, I recommend casting Curse of Recklessness on it, then enslaving it, so your demon has some fear resistance and increased attack power.
This curse can NOT be used on players. It is only used for:
Bosses when not Affliction. Affliction with

For most fights immolate falls out of use in the teens and certainly is not used when your are in "death mode"
iCoA is probably a better investment in the suppression in the 20's, with Drain Life+Life Tap the mana efficiencies from Suppresion are not great. The spell hit part is really not noticeable unless you are fighting mobs 3+ levels higher than you. And as you get Siphon Life and later Dark pact the saved mana is just weaker, as far as leveling goes, raiding is very different.

Immolate is there for extra DPS, meant to kill the target as soon as possible. We can quickly get our mana back, in or out of combat, but while
in
combat, we want to get more life back than damage. I'm sure you won't kill mobs in five seconds, so you're basically trying to kill the mob in 10 seconds, possibly more. Remember, Drain Life must be more than damage taken! Kill the mob as fast as possible to take the least amount of damage!
Yes, for single target killing immolate is useful. For leveling killing multiple mobs is generally better. In simplest terms, corr+CoA on 2 mobs is more DPS then immolate=corr+CoA on 1 mob. The reason it drops out in the teens is because of
Drain Life
at level 14. With a little practice in timing and aggro managment with the VW you can chain pull mobs non-stop. Starting DPS on the 2md or 3rd mob before the 1st is dead. Basic concept goes: send VW, it will do damage and use torment, you will cast CoA then corr, neither of these do damage on cast that lets the VW get some aggro lead, look for you next mob and send the VW to attack it, the 1st mob will follow the VW while you CoA+corr the 2nd mob, then Life Tap if you need and then drain life on mob1. Now that you are full health/mana and the VW has aggro on mob 2 find mob 3 repeat. As you skill gets better you can pick up a 3rd mob. This mob you might start with immol, then fear then coa+corr.
Opening with immolate makes it difficult for the the VW to keep aggro which means you will take more hits leading to more drain lifes. Drain life is not a good DPM spell. On a DPM basis CoA >Corr>Immol>Drain Life. DPM is important when working on maximum DPS. Every 1.5 GCD you have to burn on a Life Tap is less DPS.
