Green armor in the normal armor stat part of the item is as explained by Anile.
Green additional armor from enchants, armor kits or whatever (at the bottom of the item's stat list) however is not increased by bear form.

I have one quick question. Would you give up 3 points in Thick Hide for 3 points in Primal Tenacity ? Fully raid buffed I am at almost 33k armor with 3 points in Thick Hide but really considering putting those points in primal tenacity to help reduce stuns and fear in hyjal and bt. What do you think?
Having glanced at your spec, Squatty, I'm going to humbly make a few recommendations.
1) Remove
Feral Aggression
.
Reasoning: At Level 70, your overall usage of
Ferocious Bite
should be low. While farming, maybe you'll Fero Bite some mobs to finish them off. Mostly,
Rip
yields far more damage per energy point. Let's then assume you can disregard the 15% damage increase. Secondly, and more importantly for Druid Tanking, is the 40% increase to
Demoralizing Roar
.
When you do the math, Demo Roar is being increase by 96 Attack Power reduction. According to
this WoWWiki post
, that decreases an enemy's DPS by ~7 (rounding up). Even if you're taking on multiple mobs, the damage reduction yielded by Feral Aggression is not as crucial as other talents I'll discuss.
2) Assuming you change nothing else about your spec. You have at this point freed five talent points, which IMHO, should be spent on:
a) 3/3
Primal Tenacity
b) 2/2
Imp LotP
You've now gained huge survivability and reliability points. Now, lastly, I urge you to ask yourself how often you DPS - whether solo farming, heroics, raids, etc.
The answer to this question will tell you whether to:
3) Remove
Savage Fury
As a Cat, you're utilizing about 40% of this talent (sometimes I use Rake to get a 4th/5th combo point to get Rip up there). Claw is the most useless ability in the game (save for
Soothe Animal
).
With these two talent points, I would highly recommend for you to:
a) Complete 3/3
Intensity
.
The benefit of 10 rage to your tanking (when Enrage is activated) is unfathomable.

Hoping this helped you in your decision-making. By all means, make your own choices. But, in my experience of over a year of Druid Tanking, these tips have gotten me a long way.
EDIT: If in the end, you decide these tip are worthy of changing your spec,
this
is what your spec will look like (and the exact spec I use to tank Heroics, Kara, SSC, etc.)
Cheers,
Angelcrusher

Hi.
I love ur guide :D.. It have really helped me alot, I think my only problem when I'am tanking is that I not always uses a mangle every 6 seconds, because I forget it :S... So I was wandering if u can create a macro, using mangle if it is not on CD, and using Lacerate if it is on CD, So u actually only need one button for mangle and lacerate. I think that would increase my TPS by alot. I hope u understand what I mean, and I'll thank u in advance :D

I have a question about Def and the talent that goes with the crit reduction.
I currently have 470 def, and although I have read this guide more than a few times, I dont have the 5.6% crit reduction that is recommended. Does the talent not show up on the character sheet or am I just messed up or what?

There is 3% that does not show up, to max out your crit immunity ... you only need 415 defense, or you can swap out some defense for resillance if you pvp much.

2. I went for crit immunity and hit capping first, then building primarily dodge, stamina, agility, and other tanking stats. This is why you see all my gem slots having Rigid Dawnstones, and why I have Glyph of Ferocity on the helm, and why I chose the PvP gear instead of non-PvP (and because the stats are most of the time generally beter).
Please rate and add suggestions, thank you!
-I think that you went way overboard on the hit capping. It isn't that important since bear tanks can pull ridiculous amounts of threat anyways even if they cannot hit the enemy as often. (I often find myself around 100k-150k threat above anyone else in my Gruul's raids)
-I looked at your avoidance, and it could possibly use a little more dodge. Possibly put the agility enchant on your cloak, since you get more out of agility rather than dodge rating (armor, dodge, and if you have nurturing instincts... Heals!). Possibly stats enchants on your chest and wrists wouldn't hurt. But definitely the agility enchant on the gloves is needed since you can stack the stamina gems in your sockets instead of the hit rating.
It would be more of a PvE change for you, but it would definitely help.
- But if you don't like the idea, definitely put a meta gem in the head socket.
Check out my druid on warcrafter if you would like.

Seriously, You upgraded quite a bit!
Some minor changes that I would do, (but are a preference)
- Change your

, to a
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34473
, because you get the dodge rating if you need it in dire situations, and also get a Ton of Stamina.
-I don't know where your defense rating is at with being uncritable or not but I would recommend a

Gem in your helm instead of your

. I would expect though, with all your resilience that you would be uncritable anyways.
With Wrath coming out so soon though, the question arises. Is it a dire need to change all this when it is going to be useless when Wrath comes out?
Have a good one tanking!
