The fact of the matter is that, if that's your case, you do habitually consume soft drugs. It only sounds misleading because people don't call caffeine a drug because it's in a lot of things and 'drug' has quite a negative connotation. People don't want to tell themselves they're consuming a drug when in fact they are. Sure you can say its a drug but their is no proof it's harmful for you, I admit that part but I can't see the rational in comparing it to the above mentioned drugs unless the OP has some desire to say we're all on "drugs."
Any substance that alters you physically or mentally is a drug. So yeah, caffeine's a drug.
By that argument, EVERYTHING, and I do mean EVERYTHING, that you consume is a drug.

To clear up a little of the confusion. I included caffeine because it is a
psychoactive
drug. It alters chemical messages in your braind, leading to things such as alertness, concentration, insomnia, and irritability.
Regular caffeine users do develop tolerances to caffeine, requiring a larger quantity to feel the effects, thereby putting it in the same league as ecstasy, LSD etc. Withdrawal symptoms may also occur, however not enough to classify caffeine as a hard drug.
I myself used to be addicted to caffeine. Every morning I'd feel like arse until I skulled a 600mL Coke. Every night I couldn't sleep unless I had some Coke. I went through No-Doz and energy drinks like they were nothing.

Caffeine has nothing on LSD or any other tachyphylaxis-causing drugs. Long-term tolerance of caffeine is comparable to most other drugs.

Nonetheless, it
is
a tolerance-building drug.

Caffeine: You can overdose on it, develop tolerances to its effects, and suffer physical withdrawal symptoms. And regardless of its level of psychoactive effects, it is an effective stimulant in those without a tolerance. It is a drug.

Every drug causes some sort of tolerance in the person, so that's a meaningless thing to say.

Not all drugs cause tolerance, actually.

Clean now, but struggled with a coke addiction for years. Had to do some prison time too, but that ultimately ended up steering me in the right direction.

I ticked caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, the pain-killer ones (for legitimate purposes), cocaine and cannabis.

Holy crap that is way too technical for my stoner brain!
But yeah I smoked weed a few times in high school last year and once this year with a friend.
That's it.
Smoking weed a few times over the course of a few years doesnt make you a stoner, just saying.

I was about to click on "I have never put any drugs in my body", but then I noticed caffeine and alcohol were on the list (and I guess Dafalgan is the same as Ibuprofen, i.e. a painkiller?) Lol.

10 people have apparently never had caffeine, alcohol or ibuprofen. I find this very hard to believe.Clean now, but struggled with a coke addiction for years. Had to do some prison time too, but that ultimately ended up steering me in the right direction.
I had a mate that had to go to jail,
for something he didn't do
, before he could quit drinking. If he committed the crime, or he did any less than the 2 months he did, he'd still be drinking. And he was a terrible drunk. A little over a year without the piss and he's now among the more intelligent and rational of my mates - although he still does stupid things like getting the Southern Cross tattooed on himself :3
