I wouldn't touch than new thread with a ten foot pole- lol.
It's not that scary. I think you and asakawa are more nervous about it than is warranted. It will likely generate a conversation about animal rights than sex with animals.

If that's the direction the discussion moves toward then that's great. Gamerunknown, I think, posts in a sensible and intelligent way and the first post in the thread is no different I just worry about the direction the subject
could
take. Hopefully I won't need to say any more than my post there.

Meh. I think the discussion has a good chance of going nowhere. I doubt you really needed to post anything. Bestiality isn't really controversial. It might be a bit sensational, but not something people generally argue about.

That's fine. My concern isn't that it is a fruitful and interesting debate, just that it doesn't become "unsavoury".

But the Phelps family read the same bible and interpret it a very different way. I know that "Phelps" is practically a Godwin and I don't mean to be facetious but they would say that your interpretation of the text is incorrect would they not?
God damnit. WHY?

On another note, who can I pay to make a life decision for me? I'm tearing myself apart deciding between staying in Kiruna, where we have gotten a new ex-national team coach, or moving to the U.S to study at one of the prestigious colleges, since I received an offer (scholarship was mentioned, but I have no way of knowing how the training quality will be, nor if the training philosophy would suit me) yesterday.
So, if anyone has been in a remotely similar situation, please let me know how you decided what you wanted to do.

What are you training for?
I'm guessing insurance would be an issue if you moved to the US if it involves full body contact, so see if you can find out about that before you make a decision.

Keep in mind that you'd get better latency in the US...just saying :P
On a serious note, there are so many details that factor into making a decision like this, that we won't know because we're not you. I think you might have to make this one on your own- sorry :(
Just a word of advice about going to college overseas- do a lot of research first. My college had like 65% students from other countries, and many of them were a little taken aback when they got here. The campus was beautiful, but set in the middle of the ghetto, and as an indication of how bad the area was they issued all students keychains that we could press to alert security where we were and bring up a picture of which student was setting off the alarm, so they'd know who to look for.

Staying in Kiruna sounds retarded because it's Kiruna, but other than that.. Your life seems like it's gonna be awesome either way though. Grats on the awesomeness.
Thanks

Which is what I'm trying to do, but my "heart" is getting mixed up with my "brain" and my "expectations" and "general desires", and I have no way of telling one from the other any more. I just don't know

I'm a swimmer, so full body contact is (mostly, but I'll refer from elaborating) out of the picture. Thanks for mentioning insurances, though, hadn't thought about those.Hey guys :)

Studying in the U.S is, most likely, going to provide the better education and/or employment options; but I still aim for making a living off swimming. I have the guarantee that I'll recieve top-of-the-line practice if I stay here, since my coach has trained 20+ European medalists, but I do not know (and do not think) that the education will be quite on par. So that's the scale; does the better education weigh out the (risk of) possibly worse training conditions?Hey guys :)

Yeah, I've known I had to make this decision eventually, but I've just postponed it since it's so damn difficult...
And wow, keychains with security-alerts... That... does not make me feel comfortable. Thanks for mentioning it, though.
