Anyone playing with a touchpad

maybe you can help. I'm doing the barren seeds quest and i can't reach the fissure because apparently I can't dive deep enough. tried every angle and zoom possibility but I the only way I can even get underwater is by randomly jumping. is this normal? should I just go buy a mouse? thanx!

thanx, will try that. I'm getting a mouse as soon as i've got extra cash, you're about the tenth person says it works better.

When I still had my first account, I played with a touchpad; however, I didn't have too much of an issue like you seem to be having. A mouse is easier by the way....a lot easier.

Jumping into water will get you below. It seems curious though that you couldn't get underwater by merely clicking on the right button and moving your finger over the pad a couple times (depending on the angle) downward while you are moving forward. That should propel you downward into the water. If doing that is a struggle, a mouse will save you the trouble. Good luck.

Indeed. Think of it as the "duck"-function of any First-Person Shooter.
