If I create a sculpture do I therefore create a lack of every other possible sculpture?
No, that's silly. Evil is a lack.
By this logic, then good would also be a lack. One cannot have good without evil to act as a counter.
...ummm...no?
Let's spell out the analogy is very simple terms.
God : good : : sculptor : statue
good : evil : : statue : lack of statue
Therefore
God : evil : : sculptor : lack of statue
Take a magnitude (a line) and the lack of magnitude.
I can have an infinite magnitude (line) and thus have no lack of magnitude.

But.... God created Lucifer, who in turn fell and become the Devil, creating Evil......

But.... God created Lucifer, who in turn fell and become the Devil, creating Evil......
For the last time...evil is not created! It's as stupid as saying the lack of water is created.
Lucifer
fell away
from God, i.e. a lack of God.

How does neutral fit into this?

If there was only good, how would we know evil? And if so, how would we recognize good?
Let me ask you: does knowledge of water depend on knowledge of a lack of water? No. Do we need to know anything about the lack of water to recognize water? No.
It's not that hard of a concept.

Actually, knowledge of water does depend on knowledge of other non-water substances. What does "liquid" mean? What does its boiling point mean? We compare those to other objects to better understand water.

Then where does evil come from? It wouldn't just come out of nowhere. That's the thing that's always bothered me about the idea of 'God', at least most of the other deities and creation myths give a solid explanation of good and evil, whether is from the death of the primary god or whatever, but the whole creates the Earth in 6 days, on the Seventh He rested, and yet somehow corruption finds it way into this perfect existence that He created.... just because people says it does. Always seemed slightly wrong to me, as if something was missing.

No it doesn't.
For something easier, take being. I know being. I don't know non-being, and it has no effect on my knowledge of being.
Then where does evil come from? It wouldn't just come out of nowhere.
Where does a lack of water come from? Well....it comes from a...lack...of water.

That's a bad answer, we can only know the full extent of the importance and role of water by knowing what happens or becomes when there is an absence of it.
Importance and roll are accidental to water. We're talking about per se knowledge.

You cannot have the idea of good without a standard to set it as. You cannot know what that standard means without something to counter it. That is where evil comes in.
God may not have directly created anything that is evil, but he did allow for the possibility of evil to exist to set the standard of what good is.
Therefore, God created evil by allowing man the free will to create it, and give value to good.
In seeking to bring yourself closer to God, you seek to know God's creation. In order to understand all of God's creation, one must understand humanity, and thereby understand things that are evil.

Where does a lack of water come from? Well....it comes from a...lack...of water. That's a really bad analogy lol. We know 'how' lack of water occurs; a drought, a spring runs dry, so on and so forth... but according to you, the reason the Snake got into the Garden, would be because there was a lack of God there, in Eden, His place......

No it doesn't.
Yes it does. See what I did there? I disagreed without any explanation at all, as if my saying it somehow invalids you.

I already said that was God. God = The Good.
You cannot know what that standard means without something to counter it.
Yes you can. I know what water is based on this standard I have in my mind. I don't need anything else

God doesn't exist in place. Please stop spouting absurdities.

I already said that was God. God = The Good. Then everyone is Evil as no one is equal to God.
God doesn't exist in place. Please stop spouting absurdities.I'm not spouting anything, merely asking you a question; how did the Snake come to be in the Garden, a place that was suppose to be heaven on Earth.

A=A.
What is A? You don't know, you need to compare A to B to understand the qualities of A. Comparing A to itself is entirely useless.

It's obvious and I'm sorry you can't see it.
