If anyone, who is like me, and out mining Tin in Ashenvale and need to smelt ore, there is a forge in Hellscream's Watch just north of Astranaar on top of the hill.

In Orgrimmar, the blacksmith workshops, with the giant central anvil and the molten metal flowing around the walls, ARE forge zones. The trick is, the forge "zone" (similar to the ones found within any Human smithy) is centered around the giant anvil (go figure).

If you are too close to the wall (and the molten metal that just screams "forge"), you will be outside of the forge "zone" and get an error message when you try to smelt. Back up just a step or two if you want to RP forging along the wall.

There is also a forge next to Jorunga Stonehoof in the Chamber of Masters - Shrine of Two Moons -- (26.42, 41.31).

EDITS: There is also a forge in the Valley of the Four Winds. It is located at Nesingwary's Safari (16, 83.19).

Forge located at Gao-Ran Battlefront (75.73, 81.87).

The forge in Shrine of Seven Stars is at the bottom east as you enter the shrine. It doesn't say forge when you mouse over it, but it is next to the npc Cullen Hammerbrow a blacksmith supplier.

There might be forges in Old Dalaran, but there aren't any in New Dalaran. You're going to have to use a thermal anvil at this point if you want to get any smelting done.

Since the addition of Lunelli in patch 7.1.0.22908, there are no forges at all in the Lower City of Shattrath City (Outland)

There are forges in Shat. One is in Scryer's Tier. There is one for Aldor Rise as well. There is a also an Anvil located next to them as well.

The Forge in Dazar'alor is at the Terrace of Crafters at (44, 38) behind Forgemaster Zak'aal <Blacksmithing Trainer>.

Any idea about the forge and anvil in Heart of the Forest (Night Fae version)? Nothing is at the location given here.

For Engineers, wandering around Dornogal looking for the blasted thing to smelt Copper Bars for Copper Bolts to turn into Scrap to make other things..., it's next to the Blackmsith table at the other end of the building. /way #2339 49.2 63.5 Forge
(Edit: Also, the anvil to make the bolts etc is outside, through the exit to the right as you are facing the Engineering craft table. It is not labelled, but there's a Forgegrounds Worker busily hammering it, repeatedly missing the cooled sword clamped to the table.)
