I just beat defiled earth, the team I used to take this guy down is Molten Corgi (Bark Cauterize and Inferno Herdling) Pandaren Water Spirit (One-two combo on him ) and finally Chrominius (Bite, howl, and Surge of power.)

Corgi on the front lines you immediately start out with Inferno Herdling, if not it won't work, you need defiled earth off the front lines and take out his lackies, bark on corgi is weak against the moth however just keep cauterizing when you can to keep him up, once the defiled earth is back up Inferno Herdling again to get the rat out, kill that easily, then Bark Defiled until the Corgi is dead, then switch to pandaren use the one-two combo (Whirlpool and Geyser) then immediately switch over to Chrominius and then use Howl, once the one-two combo goes off either surge of power or bite to finish the job, if any problem please drop a reply down below and hopefully I come around to answer it.

I had a bit of difficulty dealing with Defiled Earth. Usually, I just log into wowhead and mimic whatever highest voted strat I see, but currently, as I post this, there are only a few posted and none of them are really working for me. Since the back pets are day/realm reliant, here's what I've come up with, so far. It's a mixture of a couple of comments I just read:

Molten Corgi (1-2-2)
Dread Hatchling (1-1-1)/Gilnean Raven (2-2-1)/Crow (2-2-2)
Emerald Proto-Whelp (2-2-2)

Start with Molten Corgi, use Inferno Herdling, Bark x2, Cauterize, Bark until enemy pet dies. Inferno Herdling against Defiled Earth again. Swap to your bird.

Call Darkness, Nocturnal Strike, Peck x2, bird dies. Swap to Emerald Proto-Whelp.

Emerald Presence (refresh when it has 1 turn remaining), Emerald Dream (use on cooldown), use Emerald Bite as a filler.

I hope this helps and I'm sure that there is a better way to do this. <3

Zandalari Anklerender (2,1,2)
Pandaren Water Spirit (1,2,2)
+ Any pet to level (or Emerald Proto-Whelp(2,2,2) if you have troubles)

1. Use Black Claw
2. Cast Hunting Party + Leap. Legendary pet should be dead, but
3. If it's still alive then change pet on Pandaren Water Spirit and use Water Jet.
4. Finish remaining pets.
4* (Optional). Emerald Proto-Whelp: cast Emerald Presence + Emerald Dream and finish all with Emerald Bite.

Tip: After having defeated this pet, run towards the blocked mine entrance, the game will port you back to the gate (at the bottom) saving you part of the run back.

Is what I use for all Legendary pet battlers.

Take care of the Legendary with your PWS
> Geyser
> Whirlpool
Switch to Chrominius
> Howl
> Bite should kill it

Second pet
> Bite
> Bite
> Surge of Power (your pet should die here aswell as the second pet)

Third pet- PWS
> Geyser (your pet should be dead here)

Anklerender
> Black Claw
> Hunting Party (Third pet should be dead here)

With patch 7.0.2 Howl Bomb strats don't work anymore.
A good alternative is using a Zandalari Anklerender together with Pandaren Water Spirit. Details are outlined here: http://www.wow-petguide.com/index.php?m=Tanaan&s=53

On a side note, all strategies on Xu-Fu's guides are updated to work with 7.0.2. Enjoy :-)

Easily defeatable with Pandaren Water Spirit (1 2 2), Chrominius (1 1 2) and a pet that can withstand a few rounds or self-heal. Ideal choices for the third slot are Anubisath Idol (1 1 1) or Emerald Proto-Whelp (2 2 2). The Lifelike Mechanical Frostboar (2 2 2) can also hit like a truck and use self-heal.
The third slot choice depends on the backline pets that you face (random every day), but with either of the pets listed you should be good most of the time. I put the detailed steps for the fight up here: http://wow-petguide.com/index.php?m=9&s=53 (it's not a video ^^)

I've been using the "snailception" comp on this fight, seems to work well! (3x snails with Ooze Touch, Acidic Goo and Dive)

The snails take very little damage from Fel Corruption.

For those without PWS to do a Howlbomb:

Any two pets with Rot and Stampede (or Swarm, though I would recommend Stampede from a Beast due to the Beast pet passive bonus) between them will kill Defiled Earth just fine.

I used a Voodoo Figurine for Rot and Direhorn Runt for Stampede, and Emerald Whelpling for the last two pets.

If you're using a Voodoo Figurine, start with Wild Magic, then Rot and swap to Direhorn runt. With the runt, use your Trihorn Shield and then Stampede. Kill the rest with your Emerald Whelpling.

If you're using slightly different pets, the proper way to do things is probably Rot first, swap pets and Stampede right off the bat and finish with whatever.

My other 2 pets died from quake and I never got them out.

If you don't have the Pandaren Water Spirit, a combo that worked for me is Singing Sunflower, Nether Faerie Dragon, and a third pet of your choosing. Ideally the third pet has enough health to survive the aoe attacks and can take on a flying pet. I didn't need the third in my attempt, but doesn't hurt to have one if needed.

I used the Singing Sunflower with Sunlight, then Photosynthesis, followed by switching to the Nether Faerie Dragon and Life Exchange, then switching back to the Singing Sunflower. At that point, keep Sunlight and Photosynthesis active while using Solar Beam. Both of my other pets were low, but survived by the time I encountered the two flying pets. Neither of the flying pets were able to overtake the healing and DPS.

FINALLY ended up beating this with Rapana Whelk (Ooze Touch, Acidic Goo, Dive), Nexus Whelpling (Arcane Storm, Mana Surge) and Rotten Little Helper (Greench's Gift, Ice Lance).

After using the Comp suggested by Gwez (and OP) for use on ALL of the Tiny Terrors in Tanaan, I decided to use it as a starting point for a

Generic Wild Capture Team for Tanaan Jungle

In Slot 1, I replaced the Pandaren Water Spirit with

Level 25 Rare (S/S) Molten Corgi with
Blazing Yip,
Superbark, and
Inferno Herding.

Superbark provides for safe captures without accidental kills of the desired capture, while Inferno Herding allows swapping to the lowest health opposing pet which can then be either captured or eliminated (Chrominius with Howl and then, Bite or Surge of Power) as desired.

Slot 2: Level 25 Rare (H/H) Chrominius
Bite
Howl
Surge of Power

Slot 3: Level 25 Rare (I used a P/S) Emerald Proto-Whelp
Emerald Bite
Emerald Presence
Emerald Dream

a slow but 100% strategy i have been using that has gotten it every time and only needs 2 pets
Molten Corgi 1-1-2 and any cricket pet (grassland hopper, singing cricket etc) 1-2-1

corgi can use inferno herding and finish off first back line pet, defiled comes back in, herd again and kill second pet. by this time corgi will likely be dead or very low hp depending on back line rng. Then defiled comes back: cocoon strike, Nature's touch, skitter skitter, cocoon strike, Nature's touch skitter skitter, repeat until defiled is dead.

Easy fight if you:

Pandaren Water Spirit - use Geyser, then Whirlpool

Swap to Chrominius - use Howl, Surge of Power, Bite

Emerald Proto-Whelp - keep up Emerald Presence, use Emerald Bite, use Emerald Dream when needed

All 15 tiny terrors can be done with only 5 pets:
Pandaren Water Elemental, Chrominius, Ikky, Emerald Proto-Whelp(Mine is a P/P breed, I do not know if it matters), and a snail, I used the Rusty Snail with a H/B breed, you may have succes with other breeds or others snails.

I always include the Emerald Proto-Whelp (2,2,2) because it will consistently be able to deal with the backline, no matter if they have 10 or 6 rounds left on their fel-steroids. You need to utilize this in a smart way though. Keep up the Presence, and use emerald dream to keep alive, the magical bite will deal more damage to flying pets which are highly likely to join the fight.
If you play smartly you will be able to defeat any backline, regardless of what creatures they are, and their rarity. Meaning you have two slots to deal with the Tiny Terrors.

Nearly all of the tiny terrors will die to the howlbomb combo:
Pandaren Water Elemental's Geyser + Whirlpool, swap to Chrominius, Howl then either Bite or Surge of Power, depending on the terror's remaining HP, and their pet traits.

However I've found that both the Dark Gazer and Mirecroak are able to disrupt this combo on a regular basis. Meaning that we will have to switch things up a bit.

Corrupted Thundertail, Chaos Pup, Defiled Earth, Felfly, Tainted Maulclaw, Direflame and Bleakclaw all die to the howlbomb, some pets have more HP than others so sometimes a simple bite will do the trick, but as a rule of thumb, use surge if its a flying type, or has more than 400-450 after the bomb has hit.

Netherfist and Skrillix both use humanoid type abilities. Which will pack a punch on your Chrominius , but even then, outside of extreme RNG cases they will not kill it in time before the bomb wrecks them.

Felsworn Sentry and Dreadwalker are the only mechanical pets, and they will take extra damage from the geyser part of the howlbomb, so more often than not they will activate their Failsafe when the bomb hits. You should be able to finish with a bite, but if they somehow have more than 400hp, its better to use the surge. Deal as much damage to the backline as you can with Chrominius, then swap to Emerald and just play it straight up tank and spank till you're done.

Vile Blood of Draenor Will be resistant to the howlbomb due to its passive, however you get to bite it twice with 100% more damage taken, making it an easy and consistent kill as well. Chrom and Emerald will take care of the backline.

Cursed Spirit is an undead, meaning it will get roughly 2 turns more than other pets. 1 of which it will be stunned. However it will most likely get off a last minute Fel corruption, giving the backline 10 turns. However if you play the proto-whelp defensively this will never become an issue.

Mirecroak, is likely killable with the howlbomb but I tend to use Ikky instead, due to my lucky rng the frog tends to get a CC nearly 80% of the time before I get the bomb off. Ikky's Black Claw + Flock, will have done its job in 3 turns. And in the case that you get CC'D before the 3rd, You can finish mirecroak off with a single Savage Talon.

Dark Gazer is the most troublesome, as it has a consistent CC, the snail's passive will counter this. This fight can become slightly RNG dependant but the snail tends to do the job on its own. Keep up Acidic Goo as a prio, Headbutt on CD and fill in with Ooze Touch.

I've consistently cleared all Terrors several days in a row using these five pets, sometimes RNG can get in your way but your chance of winning should be heavily in your own favour.

Doing this pet battle (once a day) will reward you with a Fel-Touched Pet Supplies bag. You can find one or several of the following: Fel-Touched Battle-Training Stone Nightmare Bell Periwinkle Calf Seaborne Spore or Zangar Spore. All bags will also contain Shiny Pet Charm and most Battle Pet Bandage

Start with Voodoo Figurine:

Round 1 | Flame Breath
Round 2 | Wild Magic
Round 3 | Rot
Round 4 | Swap to Cockroach (or any critter with swarm ability)
Round 5 | Swarm - Voodoo Figurine dies
Round 6 | Swarm continues...
Round 7 | Swarm continues... Defiled Earth dies
Round 10 | Scratch or Flank... Cockroach dies...get Anubisath Idol in
>>> Finish off the remaining pets with Anubisath Idol, use Deflection to counter Lift-Off

I did this with purple puffer, rapana whelk & silkbead snail

pump, heal wave, pump, pump, pump heal wave pump -- (make sure to heal the 2nd hit)

I didn't think about the last pet being beast (obv critter snails) till I got there but it was easy enough to kill despite him being strong

Selected Team:

Battle Strategy:
Defiled Earth enters the fight
Round 01 - Shadow Shock
Round 02 - Haunt - Unborn Val'kyr dies > switch to Ikky
Round 03 - Black Claw
Round 04 - Flock
Round 05 - Flock continues - Defiled Earth dies

After the legendary pet has been defeated and the second pet enters the fight, the battle strategy can vary from fight to fight.
Let your active pet fight until it is defeated and then switch to Emerald Proto-Whelp.
Use Emerald Presence directly at the beginning and keep it up the whole fight.
Use Emerald Dream after Emerald Proto-Whelp has fallen below 50% health points.
Use Emerald Bite till opposing pets are deafeated.

Easily defeated Defiled Earth using Zandalari Anklerender set 2/2/2, Fel Pup set 2/1/1 and Emerald Protowhelp set 2/1/2.

Zandalari's moves against Defiled Earth are Primal Cry, Black Claw then Hunting Party. Depending on RNG you will either smelt Defiled or the Zandalari will get rendered with Defiled almost mined out.

When Fel Pup comes in if Defiled still active finish him straight off with Diseased Bite. If you are onto backup pets then start with Crouch, then Howl followed by Diseased Bite. Continue feasting on the first backup pet with Diseased Bite until it's dessert. At this stage your Fel Pup should die to the second pet, and as normal the Emerald Protowhelp comes in as clean up crew. Just remember that depending on what health the Protowhelp comes in at, you might have to start with Ancient Blessing before launching into Emerald Bite. You shouldn't need to use the dream unless RNG is using you as a punching bag, but even then you should slide through easy enough.

Don't panic if RNG really has your number and the Fel Pup goes early, as it should've done enough damage to still have to avoid using the Emerald Dream of your Protowhelp for the remaining 2 pests (oops, I mean pets lol).

Zandalari anklerender 2-2-2, Sharptalon hatchling 1-2-1 managed to kill this battle. I had a Snowfeather hatchling as backup with me as well.

Did it as follows:

Start with Ikky: Black Claw followed by Flock (legendary died here), continue with Ikky untile dead. Switch to Pandaren Water Spirit and Dive, Water Jet and Geyser. Done ;).
Had our beloved (especially during Tiny Terrors in Tanaan) Emerald Proto-Whelp yet didn't need to use it at all ;).

With the Shadowlands pet battle changes, a lot of old strategies here and on Xu-Fu no longer work, but jtatum1313's comment on the Tiny Terrors of Tanaan page was extremely helpful!

With some minor changes, I was able to create a total of 3 different scripts that cover all 15 fel-corrupted pets.
