Overview – The battle will begin with Kula the Butcher.
When a councilor is defeated, they will return to their urn and the next will join the encounter. However, the defeated councilor will periodically rejoin the battle to use a single ability, and then return to their urn.
When all three councilors are defeated, the encounter ends.
- Tank –
  [Debilitating Backhand] inflicts Physical damage to Aka'ali the Conqueror's current target player, knocks them back, and applies [Shattered Defenses], increasing the target's Physical damage taken.
  [Barrel Through] causes Aka'ali the Conqueror to charge a targeted player, inflicting heavy Physical damage that splits among all players hit.
- Healer –
  [Barrel Through] causes Aka'ali the Conqueror to charge a targeted player, inflicting heavy Physical damage that splits among all players hit.
  [Severing Axe] inflicts Physical damage over time to random players.
- Damage Dealers –
  [Barrel Through] causes Aka'ali the Conqueror to charge a targeted player, inflicting heavy Physical damage that splits among all players hit.
  [Poison Nova] inflicts Nature damage over time to all players.
  [Call of the Elements] summons three elemental totems with powerful effects.
Kula the Butcher
- Whirling Axes – Kula unleashes a whirling attack that inflicts 339438 Physical damage to players within 10 yards, knocking them back. She then throws two whirling axes which inflict 10 Physical damage every 2 sec for 6 sec to players who come into contact with them, and knock the player back.
- Severing Axe – Kula throws an axe at a random player, inflicting 155172 Physical damage and additional 67888 Physical damage every 2 sec for 8 sec.
Aka'ali the Conqueror
- Barrel Through – Aka'ali charges a targeted player, inflicting 872841 Physical damage, split among players within 7 yards of impact. This attack ignores armor.
- Debilitating Backhand – Wallops her current target with a Debilitating Backhand, inflicting 727367 Physical damage, knocking them back, and applying Shattered Defenses to them.
  - Shattered Defenses – Increases physical damage taken by 200%.
Zanazal the Wise
- Arc Lightning – Zanazal strikes target player with a lightning bolt that arcs to other players, inflicting 135775 Nature damage to each player struck.
- Poison Nova – Creates a burst of poisonous gas, inflicting 116379 Nature damage to all players every 2 sec for 12 sec.
- Call of the Elements – Zanazal the Wise calls forth his reinforced elemental totems.
  - Explosive Totem
    Explode – Explodes, inflicting 397406 Fire damage to all players.
  - Torrent Totem
    Torrent – Gouts of water spew forth from the totem, inflicting 157695 Frost damage to players within 3 yards and knocking them back.
  - Thundering Totem
    Disruption – A burst of thunder interrupts all players for 4 sec.

Heroic and Mythic Difficulty Only

Kings' Rest is not available in Normal Difficulty.
