- Overview – The Geargrinder begins the encounter encased in [Protective Plating], slowly generating energy in preparation for [Unrelenting CAR-nage]. While atop her war-tank, Vexie calls in Geargrinder Bikers to assist her. When a biker is defeated they surrender their ride, allowing players to unleash a [Blaze of Glory] and removing an application of [Protective Plating]. Once all [Protective Plating] is removed, the Geargrinder suffers a [Mechanical Breakdown].
While broken down, Vexie begins to [Tune-Up] the war-tank and calls Pit Mechanics to [Repair] the Geargrinder. Once fully repaired Vexie commands the Geargrinder to continue its assault!

Stage One: Fury Road
- The Geargrinder
Protective Plating
– Durable plating protects the Geargrinder, allowing it to slowly gain energy.
When all applications of Protective Plating are removed, the Geargrinder enters a Mechanical Breakdown.
Unrelenting CAR-nage
– Upon reaching 100 energy, The Geargrinder's engine goes into overdrive for 30 sec launching shrapnel at all players every 2 sec inflicting 20 Fire damage and an additional 12 Fire damage every 1 sec for 8 sec. This effect stacks.- Call Bikers – The Geargrinder calls in Geargrinder Bikers to aid it in battle.
- Geargrinder Biker
Oil Canister
– Upon defeat, the bike explodes and sends canisters of oil flying through the air. A player can catch the oil canister, suffering 15 Nature damage and becoming Soaked in Oil for 1 min.
Each canister that fails to hit a player explodes, leaving an Oil Slick behind.- Soaked in Oil – The player who catches an Oil Canister becomes soaked in oil, increasing damage taken from Oil Canister by 500% for 1 min.
Oil Slick
– The Geargrinder creates a pool of noxious oil that lasts for up to 5 min. Players within the pool suffer 12 Nature damage every 1 sec and have their movement speed reduced by 30%. Additionally, players within the effect slip and slide along the ground.
Geargrinder Bikes passing over the Oil Slick spin out, stunning the rider for 5 sec.
- Blaze of Glory
– The player takes control of an abandoned Geargrinder bike to launch it forward in a Blaze of Glory.
If the bike hits the Geargrinder, the war-tank suffers 1% of its maximum health and loses 1 application of Protective Plating as the bike explodes, inflicting 10 Fire damage to all players and triggering a shower of Burning Shrapnel.On Mythic difficulty, Geargrinder bikes must be fueled by 2
oil canisters before being able to use Blaze of Glory.- Burning Shrapnel – The Geargrinder's protective plating shatters into multiple burning pieces of shrapnel, each inflicting 14655 Fire damage to players within 3 yards of the impact.
- Spew Oil – The Geargrinder launches oil at targeted players, forming an Oil Slick at their location and dousing players within 7 yards of the impact with oil, inflicting 4885 Nature damage every 1.5 sec for 12 sec.
In Heroic and Mythic difficulties, Spew Oil leaves behind an Oil Slick.
- Oil Slick
– The Geargrinder creates a pool of noxious oil that lasts for up to 5 min. Players within the pool suffer 12 Nature damage every 1 sec and have their movement speed reduced by 30%. Additionally, players within the effect slip and slide along the ground.

- Tank Buster
– The Geargrinder slams into its current target, inflicting 73275 Physical damage, knocking them back and causing them to bleed for 8 Physical damage every 1.5 sec for 25 sec. In addition, the target suffers 200% increased damage taken by Tank Buster for 25 sec. This effect stacks.
The exertion causes the Geargrinder to expel a cloud of Exhaust Fumes and leak an Oil Slick that lasts for 5 min.In Heroic and Mythic difficulties, Tank Buster leaves behind an Oil Slick.
- Exhaust Fumes
– The Geargrinder releases smog that suffocates all players for 6 sec, inflicting 2931 Shadow damage every 1 sec. This increases in intensity by 20% with every cast.
- Oil Slick
– The Geargrinder creates a pool of noxious oil that lasts for up to 5 min. Players within the pool suffer 12 Nature damage every 1 sec and have their movement speed reduced by 30%. Additionally, players within the effect slip and slide along the ground.

Stage Two: Pit Stop

- Mechanical Breakdown – With its Protective Plating removed, the Geargrinder breaks down causing it to suffer 100% increased damage taken until Protective Plating is restored.
In addition, the engine periodically Backfires sending Burning Shrapnel into the arena.- Backfire
– The Geargrinder's engine backfires, inflicting 8720 Fire damage every 2 sec to all players.
- Burning Shrapnel – The Geargrinder's protective plating shatters into multiple burning pieces of shrapnel, each inflicting 14655 Fire damage to players within 3 yards of the impact.
- Tune-Up – Vexie orders emergency repairs to the Geargrinder causing it to repair its Protective Plating over 45 sec. Vexie also calls in a crew to assist with the repairs.
- Support Rig
- High Maintenance – The Support Rig inspires efficiency in nearby pit crew members, making Pit Mechanics within 15 yards immune to crowd control effects.
