Why there is no intro quest to this higher level dungeons, like spire of ascension or de other side? there is no explanation why do we get there, why we are fighting muezhala or devos, it really bothers me.

Has anyone else encountered the targeting circle for throwing the spear getting stuck on the wings of the mobs flying behind the stage? I play with my camera zoomed out as far as I can and the flapping has caused me a lot of issues with the spear not hitting Devos. :(

Since no one has explained how to do the hard part of this fight:

- When she takes off and the winds come, avoid the dark moving circles on the ground. Don't get blown off the platform. But most importantly go get the blue orbs around the platform (just run into them) and take them to the center thing.
- I don't know how many blue orbs it takes, but eventually the spear in the center thing unlocks. You know because your mouse becomes a gear when you mouse over it.
- Click it with your mouse to take the spear.
- Then you get a target sight and a special button. Carefully target her and then click/press the special button to throw the spear. Target carefully! I missed once and we died.
- She will fall back down to the platform so you can hit on her some more.
- You'll probably have to do this part twice (she takes off and makes wind, you get blue orbs to unlock spear, throw spear at her to make her come back down).

Update: I've done it some as healer now, and best thing for healer is just heal and avoid floor circles. Let dps/tank get orbs and throw spear.

A bit of advice from a healer:

On phase 2, please grab all of the anima orbs as fast as possible, even if it means running through the lingering doubt circles moving across the ground every now and then. Bring them back to the anima conduit by standing up against it, then throw the spear. Don't dawdle, you can quickly wipe a group if you stand around and twiddle your thumbs. I've run the dungeon a decent amount of times - granted, in LFG - both as heals and dps, and it's incredibly common for someone to just run around like a headless chicken and get squishy people killed in the process.

Not every healer (class / spec or skill level) can heal ramping damage every second over 30+ seconds without running out of mana or letting someone die to focus on the rest of the group, or even dying themselves. A decent healer can deal with occasional increases in damage though, so use your mobility and sustain abilities as much as you can here.

Time is money friend, and you can't get that money if everyone's dead. Or anima. You'll probably just get anima.

Fun fact: Did you know you can pull Devos before she's targetable? While The Intertwined Fates are still alive? Cause you sure can! It doesn't go well!

If you have huge AoE trinkets like the Soul Igniter, DO NOT USE THEM while fighting The Intertwined Fates.

So ever since launch there was this really annoying sound I would hear whenever I ran this dungeon, most of the time I noticed it when I got to Devos. It took me quite some time of actually coming to this dungeon and realizing it was the dungeon itself, because at first I thought my hearing was dying with the really low pitched tone it made.. I realized the giant bell that is underneath Devo's platform was making this sound. Its a '3D sound effect' so it changes based on distance to the actual bell, but it was always its worst for me when I was at the last 2 bosses.

Anyway, I finally figured out what the sound file was, with the help of a friend who works at blizzard and muted it using the addon MuteSoundFile

Some details:
--During the intermission a tick of lingering doubt goes out about every seven seconds. So it's crucial to not only end the phase ASAP but also to avoid extra stacks as much as possible.
--Lingering Doubt is magic and can be dispelled, as can Lost Confidence which is one source of Lingering Doubt.
--All priests can cast mass dispel every 45 seconds, which if it got everyone would massively simplify healing.
--Discipline priests have nothing to hit during the intermission.
--The collision detection on the pulls isn't perfect. In some of my recorded pulls I ran through black and didn't get a debuff, but you can tell if the edges of the screen turn black the game considers you to be in the pool.
--If you watch the middle when the phase is beginning you can see where the blue orbs are going.

Tired it tonight and couldn't grab all the orbs and wiped, twice. Not sure what the deal was, but could get 4 and then nothing. Couldn't interact with the spear at all. Kind of disappointing end to the run.

Overview – Devos begins her assault on the ground with the players. Upon reaching 70% and 30% she will slam the Archon's Spear into the Anima Conduit, locking it in place, before taking to the air to control the winds. Only by collecting the [Raw Anima] and returning it to the Archon's Spear can it be unlocked and used to bring Devos back into fight.
- Tank –
  The [Archon's Spear] remains locked until all orbs of [Raw Anima] are returned to it.
  You must hit Devos with the [Archon's Spear] to bring her back down to the platform when she takes to the air.
- Damage Dealers –
  The [Archon's Spear] remains locked until all orbs of [Raw Anima] are returned to it.
  You must hit Devos with the [Archon's Spear] to bring her back down to the platform when she takes to the air.
- Healer –
  When Devos activates the Anima Conduit, your party will take a large amount of damage from the [Unleashed Anima].
  The party will take more damage from [Lingering Doubt] the longer Devos remains in the air.

Stage One: Head On

Players fight Devos, Paragon of Loyalty on the ground.

Abyssal Detonation – Devos creates a concentrated nexus of maw anima that explodes after 4 sec., inflicting 738741 Arcane damage to all players within 200 yards.
On Mythic difficulties, the detonation hits all players in the encounter.
Lost Confidence – Devos infects a random player's mind with doubt for 44324 Arcane damage every 3 sec. for 15 sec. When this effect ends, a pool of Lingering Doubt forms at the victim's feet.
Players standing in the pool of Lingering Doubt gain a stack of Lingering Doubt every 1 sec. for 30 sec.
- Lingering Doubt – Your doubt grows within you, inflicting 3694 Arcane damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec.
Run Through – Devos charges in a line through her target, inflicting 147801 Physical damage to all players in her path.

Stage Two: To the Skies

Devos [Activates] the Anima Conduit, then takes to the skies until she is hit by the Archon's Spear.

Unleashed Anima – Devos activates the Anima Conduit, inflicting 110775 Arcane damage to all players.
Raw Anima – Pick up a fragment of Raw Anima. Return it to the Anima Conduit to help unlock the Archon's Spear.
Archon's Spear – Hurl the Archon's Spear at Devos, inflicting 10% of her total health on a successful hit and forcing her to return to the ground once more.
Slipstream – Strong winds pull all players and anima off the front of the platform. While the winds persist, all players gain an application of Lingering Doubt every 6 sec.
Backdraft – Strong winds push all players and anima to the back of the platform. While the winds persist, all players gain an application of Lingering Doubt every 6 sec.
Lingering Doubt – Your doubt grows within you, inflicting 3694 Arcane damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec.
