This boss heals to full health after you “defeat” him once, so you essentially have to beat him twice.

I use an Ikky and two Fel Flames, but any elementals with the Immolate / Conflagrate / Burn moveset will work just fine in place of the Fel Flames. (see below)

- Ikky: Flock (PBot 6001 swaps in Fel Flame)
- Fel Flame: Immolate, Conflagrate, spam Burn (PBot 6001 dies, respawns)
- Reapply Immolate (your pet dies)
- Bring Ikky back in: Black Claw, Flock until Ikky dies
- If PBot 6001 is still alive, bring in Fel Flame #2
- Immolate, Conflagrate, Burn until Pbot is dead
- profit!

There are lots of other elementals you can use in place of the Fel Flames, including Pandaren Fire Spirit, Phoenix Hatchling, Searing Scorchling, and Spirit of Summer.

I went thru a couple of teams and failed in the second round in the Dungeon.
Then the fourth team I sent in was Ancona Chicken, Amalgan of Destruction and Blackfuse Bombling.

I started with Flock.
Amalgan of Destruction was swapped in so I used Fire Shield, then Flame Jet and then Immolate - and to my surprise MK6001 was down.

Ikky Flock, Stormstruck Beaver Lightning Shield, Discharge. Job done. (Make sure you have tail slap in first slot in case he doesn't go straight down, Lava crab finishes him off in an emergency)

2 pet'd with Orphaned Felbat (2,2,2) and Amalgam of Destruction (1,1,1)

3rd pet must be higher or equal health to Amalgam (1491hp)

Any pet faster than him (294) with Black Claw will work for the first pet.

Round 1 - Black claw, get swapped out to Amalgam of Destruction.
Round 2 - Fire Shield - his multi-hit Jackhammer wrecks himself
Round 3 - Flame Jet
Round 4 - Immolate

3rd doesn't matter (except for the boss-swapper considerations)

Start with Yu'la, cast Celestial Blessing
Boss will pull in Magma Rageling, cast Fire Shield, Volcano, then Flamethrower

Boss just died while I was typing this out, so I haven't been able to really quality-test this, but the basic idea works wonders - the boss's rapid attack against the fire shield makes it ez mode.

Explaining:
Use any mascot that has above 276 (changed to 296) speed and abilities similar to that: Inflation from Lil-bling or any companion (like a simple Rabbit ) to use Stampede

Then use Lightning-shield from Stormstruck-beaver or thundertail-flapper

Fire Shield will be your best friend in this fight, this ability alone will carry the majority of the fight. Having higher speed won't matter because of Coolant Flush. I'd advise using P/P pet with Fire Shield. I used Magma Rageling myself. Other 2 pets did not seem like they mattered. It will be better if you use a faster pet as your opening pet since you'll be able to get the first attack off, like Autumnal Sproutling. This pet has Fist of the Forest, which is a really good one turn ability to use in this case. The 3rd pet should not matter, Magma Rageling will do the majority of the work anyway.

Goodday all,

Lets start with the last boss on Mythic (or whats it called),

This is boss can be rather annoying if you have allready used some other pets like:
Crazy Carrot
Ominous Flame
Molten Corgi

Blistering Cold with forboding Curse and an other buff is a good trick, used that on normal, but all those pets where in the after life in the Mythic round so i had to do it with:

Pierre and Tinytron and Darkmoon Zeppeling, I wished i started with this team. All pets are slower then the boss. Bring Pierre, decoy missle missle just before dying use Explode

Bring Pierre use heat up I used coma and for some strange reason flying pan. Rotate and bring Tinytron Fire Shield Lightning Shield and Flame thrower,

Maybe I was lucky but The trick is of course the Shield they hit hard :) against the last boss.

I just wanted to submit my winning combo in hopes it can help someone. I'm 2-0 currently(*Edit 3-0 as of 22Dec2018*). It can get a bit close towards the end.
Slot 1 Mr. Bigglesworth Pounce, Frost Nova, Ice Tomb. I couldn't find a "substitute" for him.
Slot 2 Pandaren Fire Spirit Burn, Immolate, Conflagrate. Substitutes? Giggling Flame, Searing Scorchling. I think any pet with Fire Shield could go in this slot?
Slot 3 Anubisath Idol Crush, Stoneskin, Rupture. Substitutes? Pebble, Winter Rageling. Or any high health pet that has Elemental Damage.

Turn one, Ice Tomb
Pulverizer Bot MK 6001 will force Pandaren Fire Spirit to come out.
At this point you are trying to put as much damage as you can into Pulverizer Bot MK 6001.
Immolate
Conflagrate
Burn until he dies, and dies again. I avoid Immolating again as it will cause your other pets in phase 3 to take more damage. Although, I never really get the option to recast Immolate anyways, as I consider phase 1 and phase 2 the burn phase.
Pandaren Fire Spirit should be dead, and Pulverizer Bot MK 6001 Should be at full health in his last phase. This has been the only scenario I've experienced in the two times I've done it.
Open with Mr. Bigglesworth and Ice Tomb. He should force swap before you can Ice Tomb.
*Note. If the boss does not force swap pets Frost Nova, and Pounce until Mr. Bigglesworth dies. Use Ice Tomb if it comes up.*
Boss should force swap pets
Use Rupture and then swap back to Mr. Bigglesworth and Ice Tomb, Frost Nova, and Pounce in that order until pet dies. Mr. Bigglesworth should die before getting a Pounce off. Use Ice Tomb if it comes up. I doubt it will come up.
Once Mr. Bigglesworth dies, have Anubisath Idol use Rupture on cool down and use Crush. Anubisath Idol survives around 400-600 HP.(*Edit Anubisath Idol has gotten as low as 100 health for me with some unlucky crits. Just don't panic)

Ikky + Ikky + Ikky all 2-1-1

Strat:
Flock - black claw then flock flock flock until he is dead.

Can't be easier than this.

Edit: Sometimes you can add Quills as needed.

While all these strats work at one time or another, just be aware, that he will not always do self damage to himself. Not sure if they hotfixed him, but out of all the times I tried him with different strats he NEVER did self damage killing himself in the first 2 rounds.

This week I have tried doing him 25 different times in a row (really I did), and not once has he done any damage to himself, all he seems to do is 2 shot all of my pets. I was lucky a couple times to get to round 3, but by that time, I have 1 pet with less than 1/2 health.

My usual strategy failed this week so I experimented a little and found this two pet strategy:

You can substitute the first pet with any other pet with Falcosaur Swarm! or Flock, as long as it is a flying pet, for speed.
It should be noted that other abilities that cause a double-damage taken debuff will work too as long as your pet has a speed greater than the boss (296 as of today).
This includes most rabbits with Stampede.
Similarly, the thundertail flapper can be replaced with an Electrified Razortooth, or any pet with Lightning Shield, Fire Shield or Unstable Shield.

List of pets with Lightning shield: Electrified Razortooth, Gust of Cyclarus, Servant of Demidos, Son of Skum, Spawn of G'nathus, Stormstruck Beaver, Sunscale Hatchling, Thunder Lizard Runt, Thundertail Flapper,Tinytron (disclaimer: I have not tested all of these and since the Son of Skum and Thunder Lizard Runt are beasts, they might die before the boss)
List of pets with Fire Shield: Amalgam of Destruction, Giggling Flame, Magma Rageling, Tinytron
List of ...pet with Unstable Shield: Giant Woodworm

1st round: Falcosaur Swarm! ( or Flock, or Stampede)
The bot will then swap your hatchling for the flapper or pet with an elemental shield
Then, use Lightning Shield (or Fire Shield or Unstable Shield). With the double damage debuff, the bot will kill itself promptly with its Jackhammer
For safety, you can use another pet with lightning shield, or even another falcosaur. Just make sure the third pet has more health than your lightning shield pet so it doesn't get swapped by mistake.

I didn't have the pet teams mentioned in the other comments and couldn't defeat the Pulverizer with pets of similar skill, but after a dozen or so attempts I finally defeated it with this team:

- Unborn Val'kyr (Shadow Shock, Curse of Doom, Unholy Ascension)
- Scourged Whelpling (Tail Sweep, Call Darkness, Plagued Blood)
- Fel Flame (Burn, Immolate, Conflagrate)

The Val'kyr was swapped out on the first round. My next moves were Call Darkness then Plagued Blood; I honestly don't know whether Darkness had any impact, but I think plaguing the Pulverizer helped my Whelpling last a bit longer.

After the Whelpling died, I applied Curse of Doom. When my Val'kyr's health got too low I used Unholy Ascension.

Finally I Immolated the Pulverizer, hit him once with Burn as that was enough to kill him once, then applied Conflagrate after it restored its health.

I started with Mountain Cottontail using only the Stampede ability.

Immediately after, boss used The Biggest Hammer bringing Sinister Squashling in, which I used Thorns on.

Once the squashling was dead, I used the cottontail again and mopped up the boss with Fel Flame. (1.1.1)

Hope this helps someone avoid the long torment of fighting this boss repeatedly.

There is an ability that has the properties of weather, the Sandstorm ability.
I was trying to kill it first time untill I used the Living Sandling which is Elemental and is gettting weak hits and also does elemental damage.
The first time I forgot to exchange it after the root and I went all the way with it and it managed to down the pet-boss to about 60% after the revival.

The winner here i think is an elemental with the ability Sandstorm

I beat it with a direbeak hatchling, thundertail flapper and ancona chicken (with higher health than the thundertail flapper). Yay! Falcosaur swarm, lightening shield, and tap him a time or two. He WILL go down!

My way to kill this boss was this:

Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling (2,x,x)
Tinytron (2,1,2)

Round 1: Hatchling: Squawk
Round 2: Tinytron is in after hammer: Fire Shield
Round 3: Tinytron: Lightning Shield
Round 4 till the end: Tinytron: Flamethrower as long as needed

Sprite Darter Hatchling (Cyclone, Life Exchange), Tinytron (Fire Shield, Lightning Shield), Foulfeather (Flock)

Enters the fight.
Sprite Darter Hatchling casts cyclone.
Boss Pulverizer swaps Sprite Darter Hatchling with Foulfeather.
Foulfeather casts flock.
Wait for Boss to die once and rebirth to full life.
Sprite Darter casts Life Exchange, then cast cyclone.
Sprite Darter dies.
Send in Tinytron to finish the battle off with Fire Shield and Lightning Shield.

I did this with Abyssius(flamethrower, volcano), Anubisath idol(crush, sandstorm, rupture), and rapana Whelk(absorb, acidic goo, headbutt, make sure whelk as more hp then idol.)

Start with abyssius, who cans switched to idol right away, then sandstorm, rupture, crush until cd, then repeat until swapped/dead.
Abyssius should do volcano first, then flame thrower, and should die real fast, finally whelk: heabutt, absorb, and goo if you get a stun from vocano or headbutt.

Need at least 1 maybe 2 stuns to win. (So luck required)

I just did this with Ikky (111), a molten corgi (221), and a twilight whelping (211). I started off with Ikky's flock, then I believe the bot swapped him out with the whelping. With the damage debuff on him from flock, I cast twilight meteorite. Ikky is still alive during this, and combined with his flock debuff and the corgi/whelping's increased damage against mechanicals from the spells chosen, and the corgi's heals, I'm sure you can plan something that will work for you.

Gets changed to Boneshard - spam blistering cold and ice spikes, till Boneshard dies
bring in
Abyssius: Volcano, Immolate, and spam flamethrower till health at about 400, volcano
Celestial Dragon: Ancient blessing (heal every 3 rounds) and flame thrower till Pulverizer bot MK6001 dies

Dragon had >1000 health

2 pet fight:

pets:

Electrified Razortooth -> Jolt, Paralyzing Shock, Lightning Shield
Any pet higher health then Electrified Razortooth. I used Thunder Lizard Runt for in case, but was not needed at all.

fight:

Start with Tinytron and pass. Electrified Razortooth will be swapped into the fight.
Lightning Shield -> Jolt -> Paralyzing Shock. Electrified Razortooth will die now.
Bring Tinytron and use Lightning Shield then Fire Shield.

Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling with Flock and speedy enough to go first (mine had 267 speed)
Amethyst Spiderling (2,2,2)
Auburn Ringtail (2,1,1) (could probably be any pet but I picked him for high speed to get the extra attacks from Tongue Lash, Survival just in case, and strong elemental poison damage from Poison Fang)

Works similar to other strats listed, but Brittle Webbing is used in place of a Fire or Lightning Shield, which destroys him.

Took him out rather easily with this setup: Valkyr / 2 Fel Flames.
first use slash, swap Valkyr back in once he switches out then:
Valkyr - slash / slash / curse / ascension
Fel Flame - Immolate / Conflag / Burn .. Repeat for next fel flame

I did not read all the posts here, just came for the stats on the Pulverizer. If this error is already covered in the comments that are already posted, please forgive me.

I needed its speed because I wanted to pick my highest damage pet. Ignore the error on this page at the top showing speed at 276. The correct speed is 294. Your pet MUST be faster than 294 to go first to apply Shattered Defenses.

My P/S Dust Bunny did nicely with 257 power and 322 speed.

After you cast Lightening Shield in Round 2, ignore the suggestion to then go get a snack - you are NOT done. Mind the battle until it is done or it will sit there until you come back and pick a spell to cast for it to continue.

Round 3 Pulverizer goes first and kills itself. Then a long failsafe process performs multiple Boss magic all the way back to full health. (of course).

I then picked Thunderbolt - and Pulverizer killed itself again. I don't think it matters what spell you pick, you just have to keep the battle going so the boss will finish it for you.

Here is another strategy to win with only 2 skills:

Zandalari Anklerender/Kneebiter, Sinister Squashling

- Press Black Claw
<Dot applies and pet gets swapped out by the boss>
- Press Thorns
- Pass

The boss hits the squashling many times and thorns combined with black claw amplifies the reflection damage you do to him, this essentially 2-shots him

Got him down with Zandalari Kneebiter (2,2,1), Sinister Squashling (1,1,1), and Linving Sandling (2,2,2). Kneebiter goes in, cast Black Claw, then gets forced out, so Sinister Squashling comes in casts Thorns, which kills him almost 3 times with some Burns thrown in. He's basically done, but Living Sandling will take him out with Quicksand.

From all the post's, thanks for the heads up on the fire shield and lightning shield!

My line up was:
Servant of Demidos (1,2,1) (he gets swapped out immediately, and was never used, but good to have for a back up).
Giant Woodworm (1,1,1) he's Unstable shield does a high amount of damage.
Magma Rageling (1,2,2) he also has a fire shield and I used Volcano that made a big difference on the damage to take down the boss. Most of the fight was done with this pet.

Start
Servant of Demidos is immediately swapped out for Giant Woodworm, buff with the shield.
The boss will proceed to kill himself twice.
Magma Rageling buff with fire shield, cast Volcano, can use Flamethrower for filler.

It took some juggling, considering I don't have nearly the sophisticated stable of battle pets some of my friends do.

All battle pets in this strategy are wild caught in reachable zones.

Animite Broodling level 23 (yes I know. wuss. At least I was able to make it Rare).
breed Speed/Speed, caught wild in Korthia.
Powers 2/1/2 - Glowing Toxin (damage them 6% of their health per round), Siphon Anima (heal 2x of dmg done), Wild Magic (add dmg to every attack against the target).

I started with Wild Magic, it took effect before it was force-swapped. If I'd known that could even happen, I might have liked the Glowing Toxin instead.

Giant Woodworm Level 23 white. (I ran out of rare battlestones....)
breed Health/Power, caught wild in Tiragarde Sound.
power in first slot might not matter but I had Skitter.
power in second slot I used Burrow, every round it survives, right? If it had been rare I would have used the other, I'm not sure if the shield depends on it hitting or only attacking.
The crucial Unstable Shield power on this one results in the boss pummeling himself, all our powers just make sure he boosts it.

Foe hits 4x per round, it's brutal. Don't get your (lightning/fire/unstable shielder) dead, swap onward to -

Kun-Lai Runt Level 25 rare
breed Power/Power, caught wild at Kun-Lai summit in the monk training area a long time ago when Pandaria was new and it was still possible to find beautiful fishing in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

With this one I reliably get good results using 2/2/2 powers:
Takedown (does double dmg if foe is stunned)
Frost Shock (does good dmg, target is chilled)
Deep Freeze (does random but excellent dmg, 1/4 chance to stun unless chilled in which case yeah it stuns).

The foe can't punch himself while stunned but I juggled another toxin-shot on then another unstable shield up whilst the Runt still has hitpoints to win this with.

I failed abysmally at other synergies based around healing. They all resulted in a tie, both sides dead meant I lost. Just stack on different bleed-type powers and it works out.

Most mechanicals only get a fraction of their hitpoints back. This one zaps back to full so you have to completely kill it twice!

strategy clarified
use stackable debuffs in priority order: (add damage to every strike) (damage per round)

use defensive reflection (unstable shield, a pet with the same in fire or lightning would work too)
- this is not the bot's own strike upon itself, this is your shield scorching his delicate fist or anodizing his paint job. Debuffing his damage could help you survive but it will burn a round.

have enough hitpoints on your Shielded pet to survive these strikes for 4x / 4x.

Ideally all pets are faster than the foe. Ideally last pet has a ton of hp as it will swap-in more than once.

edit 1: all catchable by ordinary souls.
edit 2: spelling of pet with shielding to reflect 4 hits back to the foe. Also ouch 2x note.

Didn't have any max level pets with shields but this combo worked for me:
Direbeak Hatchling (1,1,1)
Abyssius (1,1,1)
Abyssius (1,1,1)

The idea is to use Falcosaur Swarm! to increase the dmg taken then mainly Flamethrower and a couple of Valcano for good measure.
Once an Abyssius dies go back to Falcosaur Swarm! before the final Abyssius finishes him off.
Abyssius on 858/1400 health when checked after battle.

I have to say, this is among the most stupid adversary Blizzard has created. Some of what I like in the game is the ability to prepare and adapt to overcome. But, in this case, my observation is that some inadequate programmer felt befuddled that players were overcoming his weak bot so he "doubles it" by coding in unrealistic additional lives. This is just lazy and dumb. As a former programmer for Blizzard, I find this bot to be exceptionally ridiculous and lame. I hope someone realized his stupidity and fired him.

It is clear that the lazy programmer was embarrassed about his bad programming. He surreptitiously negates actions by the player--- basically not allowing them to execute at ALL. Lame excuse -- hope you enjoy your job as an assembler at In-N-Out

Yes, totally RIGGED now. This is unwinnable. The lame-a$$ programmers were clearly so embarrassed that they had NEGATED any action your pet could do. Simply put... they have rigged the match. Embarrassing that Blizzard has to CHEAT TO WIN!'

Okay, so I signed up for an account JUST to post this:

My strategy was Direbeak Hatchling (1,1,1)
And then two pets that have Lightning Shield (In this case, I chose Servant of Demidos)

On the first turn, you should use Falcosaur Swarm! to get that damage increase, then he'll use his ability to swap out to another pet. Use Lightning Shield, and you win.
Once he uses Jackhammer, he'll take heavy Elemental Damage each time he uses it, and likely won't be able to kill you before he saps all of his health. Even more so when he revives the second time.

The easiest way to beat this is three good pets with Fire Shield. Just keep the shield up right before he hammers. He will kill himself over and over.

So what most of the strategies downplaying is the third time around when you have to kill it. Because yes, at first it's relatively easy for it to kill itself. Then it's a standard mecha-ress, so not much HP to deal with. BUT after that it resurrects again. And with full HP. And you are standing with dying pets. Without hope to win. I have cried. I have tried this again and again, read all the most upvoted (and then further down) comments. And in the end what worked:

1. Snowfeather Hatchling : because of all the Falcosaur types I have only this one with a Ninja breed...also Squak and Warning Squak is damn useful here. Start with a Sqwak.

2. Boss will drop The hammer and inswap: Fel Flame. The classical Burn/Immolate/Conflagrate tactic works nicely. Yes, I haven't used shield. This way it takes more time, but I remaind with more health. Smap Conflagrate on CD.

3. When Fel Flame dies you should be already on the second or third ress of the boss. Swap back in Snowfeather Hatchling and depending on your HP and the boss' use Warning Squak. Soon after this poor Snowfeather dies. If you still have enough fight in it, spam a Falcosaur Swarm.

4. In comes the third pet: another Fel Flame. With the same spell setup. It should be enough for finish off the boss for the third time.

Is this the fastest tactic? I doubt it. But it has worked for me, when all the other tactics has failed.

For those who are struggling with this boss you can use pets with Lightning Shield and/or Flame shield abilities - multiple pets with these - so when the boss moves in to deliver his multi-attack it shreds itself on your pets lightning fast :D

An alternative to this if you dont have pets with these abilities or they are dead or you dont have enough you can use:

Fel flame (Have this as your first pet so when the boss attacks it will switch it to Kindlet)
Kindlet (When the boss switches Fel flame to Kindlet in round 1 you want to use Immolation, then Conflagrate and then Burn. When Kindlet dies switch back to Fel flame and go with the usual Burn+Conflagrate combo. When Fel flame dies you should still have the burn effect up on the boss.)
Mawtouched Geomental (Since the boss still has the burn effect from Fel flame you can use Conflagrate again, then use Stone Shot and the boss should be dead.)

I highlighted the important abilities so you can find a replacement if you need. I'm pretty sure if you have a full group of Fel flames it would finish off the boss easily but I havent tried that yet.

Tinytron is probably crazy strong against this boss since it has both shield abilities but mine is lowlvl - I'll fix that soon :D - so I couldnt try it but I feel like Tinytron has a great potential here if you have that pet on high lvl! :) Gl!

Tinytron annihilates this thing but you actually want to use a damage taken debuff instead of Black Claw because he's weak to elemental damage and effects like Black Claw got nerfed to not be affected by multipliers, so he will take more from the 50% damage bonus than he would from Black Claw.

Maybe I'm wrong but this strat seems to always kill him:

Ikky with Flock or Chitterspine Skitterling with Swarm
Tinytron with Flamethrower, Lightning Shield, Fire Shield
Something with more health than the Tinytron (I used Zoom)

Flock
Fire Shield
Lightning Shield
Flamethrower

Dead.

I didnt have a pet with lightning or fire shield so I did the following:

Anubisath idol with crush / sandstorm / rupture
Felspider with Fel Immolate / brittle webbing
Fel flame with scorched earth and conflagrate

I got this to work a few different ways but the key is this:
Felspider Brittle webbing up ASAP (fel immolate is fillter attack)
Anubisath rupture on cooldown, and sandstorm on cooldown, crush till dead
Fel flame get out scorched earth ASAP and then conflagrate to win. Burn is only filler move.

Thundertail Flipper H/B L22 Poor 2/2/1
Stormstruck Beaver P/P L23 Common 2/2/2

Using stampede, (force swap) lightning shield, thunderbolt, , (swap) stampede caused this encounter to end in only 5 rounds. Insanely easy, and you don't need fully leveled beaners/flippers
