Right now i killed Ivus the Forest Lord and could not bonus roll! And i was not the onlyone, atleast 6 other had same problem. Horde JaedenarEU!

After having killed Ivus 4 times in the previous cycle, coining 4 times, and receiving no gear... I began to realize the drop chance on his loot may be lower than previous World Bosses, having just obviously gone 0/8.
But after waiting for 2 weeks, and repeating the process with a 5th character in this cycle... killing Ivus 5 times, coining 5 times, and receiving only 1 item... my personal probability is sitting at 1/17 chance to get an item... *which sets a minimum of 5.88% chance to get an item.

As with % there is no such thing as luck... there is only probability... this is probably the worst drop % probability of any World Boss in the game files second only to the Emerald Dragons, which have the recorded drop rates to back this up.

THAT'S A 5.88% CHANCE TO GET GEAR FROM A BOSS THAT "MAY" SPAWN EVERY 2 WEEKS... and is the only place currently in the game from which to retrieve raid level 400 loot outside of HEROIC raiding itself.

It also strongly argues that the "bad luck protection" of previous gearing systems is not even remotely in use here. As prior to killing Ivus I would complete several non-item-rewarding world quests to "push" that theoretical protection, similarly to how you could do in Legion (with obvious affect)... and saw zero implications it's currently in use.

I'm genuinely curious why Blizzard thinks a ~6% chance at gear ~2 times per MONTH is even remotely "rewarding." And am actually almost sickened to realize that it's this low of a drop chance.
I honestly can't see myself giving a ^&*! about this game for much longer... after having played for over 14 years, since Oct of '04.

Blizzard has literally turned the World of Warcraft into a Nazi gambling hall.

List ilvl(355) is wrong.
8.1.0: Dropped 385 gear,
8.1.5: Drops 400 ilvl.

He can also still be found in Alterac Valley Korrak's Revenge

He is summoned by Archdruid Renferal, by turning in Storm Crystals at the Stormpike base.

Just soloed this boss as a level 60 BM Hunter at ilvl 114. The fight itself was pretty simple: just dodge everything and make sure to keep Mend Pet up at all times.

His abilities don't seem to do tons of damage at 60, even if you're not actively avoiding all of them, but he still melees pretty hard. Having a Ferocity pet with a damage reduction ability such as a Scalehide or Clefthoof is definitely the way to go. While my pet did die at some point, it was mostly because I was careless and couldn't hit Exhilaration in time, and it was nothing Aspect of the Turtle and Feign Death couldn't fix.

The wisps that spawn during the petrification phase do negligible damage at 60, even when all of them are fixating on you. Simply FD if you really want to avoid the fixates.

I don't think there were any talents that were crucial for this fight, but I made sure to spec Natural Mending just in case. I only had to use Exhilaration once or twice during the fight, and it was mainly to get my pet back to full HP.

Overview – Ivus the Forest Lord often uses abilities to attack several players at random and will retreat to the safety of his [Petrified Bark] when at low health.
- Tanks –
  Ivus will cast [Frost Breath] in your direction, leaving a [Frost Patch] on the ground beneath you.
  [Lunar Strike] will leave a few clear areas on initial impact before spreading.
  Wisps summoned while Ivus is [Petrified] fixate on players at random and cannot be controlled through threat generation.
- Healers –
  [Hurl Boulder] will hit players at random.
  [Lunar Strike] will leave a few clear areas on initial impact before spreading.
  Wisps will channel [Ancient Spark] on a random player until they are dispatched.
- Damage Dealers –
  [Hurl Boulder] hits players at random.
  [Lunar Strike] will leave a few clear areas on initial impact before spreading.
  Ivus will remain immune to damage while [Petrified]. Dispatch all active Wisps to make Ivus end the Petrification.
Frost Breath – Inflicts 3228 Frost damage to all enemies in a cone in front of the caster.
- Frost Patch – You take 3228 Frost damage every second you remain in the area and your movement speed is reduced by 20%.
Hurl Boulder – Hurls several boulders at random enemies, inflicting 3228 Frost damage to players within 3 yards of their impact.
Shockwave – The caster slams the ground, sending a shockwave out in front of the caster that inflicts 3228 Physical damage to all players caught in its path.
Lunar Strike – The caster calls down the power of the moon at random locations. Each point of impact creates a Lunar Rune that will expand rapidly after a few moments, inflicting 6457 Arcane damage to all players caught in the rune.
Petrify – The caster enters a petrified state and calls forth a swarm of wisps to fight for them. While petrified, the caster is immune to all damage.
Defeating all of the wisps will end the petrification effect.
- Wisp
  - Ancient Spark – Blasts the target for 538 Arcane damage.
