Let it be known, if you're a hunter farming island expeditions, check Wowhead's main page "Today in WoW". Be sure to check your appropriate NA/EU, Select BFA and look under Island Expeditions for what is available. Also, sadly just because you finally get one of the chosen its in (Molten Cay, Jorundall (2), Verdant Wilds, and Whispering Reef), doesn't mean it will be there. It is in fact a RARE. I've done 8 Jorundall, and with my luck, I've seen 1. Luckily my group knew I was going in to tame and didn't agro it.

Here I sit,
broken hearted.
Came to tame,
and only parted.
Stables are empty,
and again I try...
For another expedition,
to make you mine.

Contrary to what the database says I found Blazeseeker today in a cave on Skittering Hollow island. I was very surprised because everything I've read lists just the 4 islands as listed above by Kittenya; but there he was, so I think there is a lot more to learn about the rares on the islands.

Anyone have more information on him? Been trying to tame him on my hunter and have yet to see him, let alone his mob type, once. I've been solo queuing and when I get one of his islands I check his spawn point (s) and if he isn't there I leave and re-queue. Had to have done this at least 100 times. I read on another website that if his mob type isn't up when the island starts that it won't be up at any time during that expedition. Apparently they share a spawn with a lot of other creatures?

Okay listen up boys.

Since this guy was surprisingly the most painful pet to tame out of all pets in the game, I decided leaving a comment here. My stables are maxed out on my hunt and I have collected every rare pet in the game so I really know what im talking about when I say, that this guy is annoying to get.

He spawned for me on the Map Molten Cay after a whole day of rejoining Island Expos. He spawned in the middle cut of the map (where the flame is that leads to the volcano). And since there is almost no 100% accurate information about his spawn i can tell you that:

- I tried a Island rotation without Jorundall and Molten Cay and I was rejoining atleast a day on that one and found nothing, so If there is a chance that it spawns on the other maps I'd say its a insanely low chance.
- I suppose every NPC of the Island expos has its (home map) and on the others there is just a chance of them spawning later on or come with an invasion.
- Since I saw the skeleton hounds mostly on Molten Cay and Its a molten Hound I suppose Molten Cay has the best chances for it spawning. It spawned also right at the start for me and not later on.

Found him today on Skittering Hollow, after about a hundred or more island expedition resets. This confirms it can spawn on other islands, I just chose to camp Skittering Hollow because of the previous confirmed sighting. (And they seemingly spawn only in caves, the Hollow has about four caves.)

I searched the island with undead tracking up, and found the brimstone hounds would only spawn inside of the caves, on the upper part of the island, but maybe in that one lower cave, too.

Blazeseeker was in one of these caves. However, just because the brimstone dogs spawn, doesn't mean he will be up. It was probably my fifth time seeing the hounds that I finally caught him.

Interestingly, none of the other brimstone hounds from the islands are tameable except Blazeseeker, at least at the time of writing this.

He was well worth the camp.

Found on Jorundall after 30-40 attempts-ish. Middle Cave, the one on the hill, not below. Hounds were up during the time I found it. If no one has posted it, one other thing besides using track undead is using a /target Blaze macro. Just spam that and it will auto target it if it's within range of you.

Do you ned to be in a group or does Blazeseeker spawn on private scenarios where you solo it and any particular scenario on Joundour or anyone ?

Tamed this bad boy on molten cay in the gorge just below the lave pit in the middle of the island

found inside one of the middle zoned caves @ 57, 47 in Jorundall while in mythic private mode.
elemental fire beasts were in the cave at the time.
