Can be cured with the Scythe of Elune (weapon). By healing the worgen one can gain Artifact Power to upgrade one's weapon.

Druids with Scythe of Elune get an additional skill Light of Elune when you walk close to the NPC.
25 Artifact Power when curing the curse from the wolf.

I was confused when the Worgen did not give me anything, but simply vanished after talking. I did not notice the additional artifact power until after I checked the weapon--it was applied automatically.

Worgen still spawn for me, but the ability, Light of Elune, no longer shows up. I tried switching weapons, specs, but neither have worked. Anyone else experiencing this issue or know why this isn't working?

So it has been discovered that in Val'sharah there are several neutral Feral Worgen npcs that can have the curse removed if the player (a Druid) has the Scythe of Elune equipped.

If the player has the Scythe Equipped the 'Curable' Worgen will show up as a star on the players map, much like rares do. The worgen will have the buff Feral Spirit on them and as you approach them a new action button will appear, Light of Elune, which will despell the buff and 'cure' the Worgen granting Artifact power.

I have managed to locate 4 so far:
Moonclaw Vale - 64.99, 71.32
Emerald Bay - 47.96, 37.49
Steelclaw Vale - 50.80, 81.91
and one at 52, 69.4 (didn't write down the name when i was there)

There are another 2 more Feral Worgen, However the action button and rare star do not appear, trying to get info from a gm to see if this is a bug.
The 2 un-curable ones are at:
71.4, 56.6 & 68.8, 37.0

If anyone finds any more, please let me know, after dispelling the first one they mention they where part of a pack and after they came out of the dream into Val'sharah they went there separate ways. Who knows, maybe it will be the key to getting the pure drop of Shaldrassil (though I suspect this is more likely to be a drop from the raid).

So since I never did see any posts on corrections anywhere until I got the item needed. I can personally state that these Feral Worgen are NOT how we get the hidden appearance for Boomkin spec like many, including myself, had thought.

If you are here in hopes of trying to get your artifact's hidden appearance for boomkin, have no fear of this still bugged out mystery! The item you seek is required via being exalted with The Dreamwalkers and killing Archdruid Glaidalis or looting it from a mythic+ chest at the end of Darkheart Thicket in order to loot Pure Drop of Shaladrassil's Sap.

I'm exalted with the Dreamwalker's, have 29 rank resto weapon with 15 Artifact Knowledge, but I was in there as boomkin which is my OS, on boomkin loot specialization doing a mythic +2 for some friends and looted mine from the chests at the end for clearing it. This was my 1st time running the dungeon since I had gotten exalted with the Dreamwalkers, but I got lucky because there are reports of people having run the dungeon 3, 5, and 19 times. It appears that you can be in normal, heroic, mythic or mythic+ in order to get this item and be in any spec, though I don't know if boomkin must be selected for the item to drop. (Boomkin weapon was only rank 18 for those wondering)

It really makes me wonder why these Feral Worgens are here, lost from each other, and if they give anything more then just Artifact Power upon fixing all of them of their curses.

The AP gain doesn't seem to work at Level 110; I've cured two Feral Worgen so far, and neither of them gave me any. As a result, my Scythe is still sitting at a measly 180/300 AP (I've been neglecting it in favour of my Guardian and Resto artifacts).

I thought I would add a comment. I read these comments after I found the feral worgen around 70, 56.
He had the debuff and I got the action button. I left-clicked him and gave him the cure and it worked. He talked a bit about the rage being gone and running with a pack in the dream before they all went their separate ways.
Now to the artifact power question. I got no drops. I got no spell cast on me, and I got no artifact power. I checked it before and after and it was the same.

Can you do anything with these in Legion Remix? I put on my Scythe of Elune and moved up next to one, but no extra action button appeared.
