Legion Artifact Weapon Guide - Early Alpha
Artifacts are a new type of weapon coming in 7.0 World of Warcraft Legion--and no other weapons will drop in Legion. This guide covers what we know about Artifacts that's been revealed at gamescom and BlizzCon 2015.
During BlizzCon 2015, Artifact blogs were posted with information on each spec's artifact weapon. We've compiled these blogs with the general information on how artifacts work that was revealed at gamescom and the BlizzCon Legion Systems Panel, in addition to color and model variations revealed at different panels.
Only Azeroth’s most seasoned veterans possess the fortitude to wield artifacts of legend against the Burning Legion. Your myth-forged weapon grows in power as you do, and your choices will change its abilities and the way it looks, sounds, and feels in combat. Fashion your artifact into the perfect instrument of battle, and guide your faction in its most desperate hour.

Darkmoon Faire Community Amphitheatre: Lore, Systems, Class Changes
Wowhead had a great time hanging out in the brand new Darkmoon Faire area here at BlizzCon 2015. The atmosphere is amazing, and really fostered some great discussion with the Blizzard folks chatting together and with the crows!
As these panels were not part of the Virtual Ticket, we've summarized the important points below. Friday's panel focused on fantasy, quests, and lore, while Saturday's panel delved into class changes.
BlizzCon 2015 - Heroes of the Storm Battlegrounds Panel
Battleground Goals
There are a couple of core goals for battlegrounds in Heroes of the Storm. A battleground must eventually end and create conflict.
On battlegrounds, they want to make sure that there are objectives to fight over and if you succeed, you get a good reward.
For example, on Sky Temple, the large size of the map allows many skirmishes because of the time transitioning between lanes. The objective of Skye Temple causes large fights.
BlizzCon 2015 WoW Q&A

My question is about Alleria. Her group never got to see that the Orcs weren't as evil as everyone thought, does that mean they will be part of the factions conflict?
No. But when we finally discover them in Legion, the way you view WoW will change. Nothing to do with that, but amazing stuff is in store.
Is there any hope of sub races, such as Taunka or Dark Iron Dwarves being playable in the future?
There were tens of thousands of votes for this one, I'll take it. So our mission is to sell the class and the race--the fantasy. So the easy answer is yes, we'd love to do it. But the more difficult answer is how will we do it? We'll be working on it.
BlizzCon 2015 - Hearthstone World Championship
The 2015 Hearthstone World Championships are coming to a conclusion and a new World Champion will be crowned today! The finals were set to start at 2:00 PM PST but with how close the two series have been today, we're a good bit behind schedule. While you wait, here's our recap of the action at BlizzCon thus far!
Quarterfinals
Thijs vs. Kranich
Thijs continued his hot streak, properly picking his decks as he and Kranich traded match after match. The only player in this year’s Championship that also competed at BlizzCon last year, Kranich went down as his Midrange Hunter failed to find its footing. This was particularly surprising because Thijs was quick to express his intense desire to avoid playing his Patron Warrior into a Midrange Hunter.
Ostkaka vs. Pinpingho
Pinpingho, the Shaman himself from Taiwan couldn’t find a win with his Midrange Druid in the first two matches and as a result found himself behind from the start. Luckily his Hybrid Hunter was quick enough to beat Ostkaka’s Oil Rogue, but the same couldn’t be said for his staple Shaman deck.
DieMeng vs. Kno
The only other Shaman player in the tournament, China’s DieMeng, found himself hamstrung by the Midrange decks of Kno. Though he did manage to win the Secret Paladin vs. Midrange Paladin matchup, he struggled to find wins with his Face Hunter deck that just couldn’t get going thanks to Kno’s board clears and control.
Zoro vs. Hotform
The days matches concluded with North America’s lone remaining hope, Hotform, taking on Zoro. The former took a quick win as Zoro’s Secret Paladin struggled to find the right draws. However, Zoro rebounded with two great matches that just barely remained in his favor throughout, leaving Hotform with little choice but to trade board control for face damage. Much like our other Chinese player, Zoro just couldn’t close out a win with his Face Hunter.

BlizzCon 2015 - World of Overwatch Panel
The panel features Michael Chu, Chris Metzen, and William Petris.
Overwatch has a very diverse world which is represented by its multiple maps.
The Omnic Crisis: robots turned against mankind. Each country had found a different way to combat the threat.
Russia created giant mechs to fight the robot army. Germany made crusader armor. USA has enhanced soldier program.
When the Omnic Crisis ended due to Overwatch but Russia had to do it alone.
BlizzCon 2015 - Heroes of the Storm State of the Game Panel
The Heroes of the Storm panel started off by saying that Li-Li and Murky have the highest win rates.
The team then recapped everything that happened in Heroes of the Storm this year.
The game moved from alpha to a full launch.
Heroes of the Storm launched into eSports.
11 new heroes were released this year for 43 total.
4 new maps were added this year for 9 total.
The team then talked a little about the win rates of heroes. The goal for all heroes is 45%-55%.
The Lost Vikings: 57%
Abathur: 44%
Stitches: 44%
Butcher: 56%
Leoric: 54%
Tassadar: 47%
Zeratul: 46%

The panel will be starting shortly.
10:00
Should be starting any time now.
10:06
Mike Donais, Senior Game Designer takes the stage.
10:07
First design goal of Tavern Brawls was to be weekly, to give players more content to chew through between expansions/adventures.
10:10
Next goal was variety, to try new things and improve them over time.
10:11
Donais is now breaking down the three different types of Brawls: build your own deck, pick a class, and prebuilt.
10:12
Most of this information has been talked about before, players that like to innovate like to build decks, pick a class is very replayable since it's random, and premade decks give you access to cards you may not own.
10:15
Co-op Tavern Brawl now being talked about. It didn't make sense for Blizzard to completely rearrange the UI and players to have them both on one side of the field.

Hearthstone: The League of Explorers Arriving Next Week
Continuing the release trend, Blizzard has announced The League of Explorers Hearthstone adventure. Touting "heroic new characters and dastardly villains, dangerous temples, and deadly traps that will require innovative decks and strategies to conquer," League of Explorers will add an additional 45 cards to your collection.
The story follows Elise Starseeker, Reno Jackson, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Brann Bronzebeard on their journey through the deepest jungles and hidden temples of Azeroth. With the goal of acquiring an ancient artifact, you'll need to face many perils as they navigate through the Temple of Orsis, Uldaman, The Ruined City, and the Hall of Explorers!
As per usual, the content will release on a weekly schedule starting on November 12 with a break for Thanksgiving.
“League of Explorers is a fun mix of memorable locations from Warcraft and exciting new locations to battle through,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “Players who join the expedition are in for a good time and will walk away with some great new cards for their collections.”

BlizzCon 2015 - Overwatch Dev Chat and Q&A
There was a surprise panel at the Darkmoone Faire stage featuring the Overwatch developers.
The team started off by giving some tips and tricks for Zarya, one of the Warriors in the game. Zarya is not a very good solo tank so the devs gave some tips.
You could find a partner and run 2 Zaryas. You both have a personal shield and a shield you can place on the other player for extra tankiness.
Zarya really shines at high energy levels. Toss a shield on enemies that are about to enter combat to build the power level.
Q: How accurate is the team composition tips system?
A: It's not so much that they want to enforce a meta, but more that they want to inform players that many team composition should have a healer or a tank. The more you play, the less you have to rely on the system to guide you. The system is there for those who are lost.
Artifact Weapon Details Revealed and Darkmoon Faire Chat
Blizzard has posted a series of blogs on newly revealed artifact weapons for all of the classes!
Besides showing us these awesome weapons that we'll grow familiar with over the course of Legion, the new Rogue spec is mentioned. Combat has been renamed to Outlaw, a major change that will surely resonate in the class' community.

Cho'gall
The team was planning on doing Cho'Gall for a while but there were a couple of problems that had to be solved.
Riding shotgun may not be fun. However, the team actually found it was fun to ride shotgun!
One team will only have 4 heroes. However, the balancing team said they could tune Cho'Gall up.
Cho is the one controlling the movement.
Gall is the caster but does not get to control movement.
Cho'Gall's third ability uses an extra layer of communication.
Runic Bomb - Hurl a Bomb in a targeted direction dealing damage to all enemies it hits.
Runic Blast - Explode the Bomb dealing damage to all enemies around the current position of the bomb.
BlizzCon 2015 - Legion Panel Liveblog
Welcome to the Liveblog of the Legion Panel at BlizzCon 2015. The Legion panel is now over and there's tons of information on Legion.
Summary
Demon Hunters will have their own unique mount and work closely with Illidan who isn't prepared for their arrival. They will start in Mardum then end up escaping from the Warden's prison.
Val'Sharah
is a druid oriented zone--there will be new models for Druids, including an updated Sea Lion and Moonkin form.
Stormheim
is about the Vyrkul and introduces a new dragonflight, the new stormdragons!
Aszuna
is a ravaged and cursed Night Elf zone. Azshara has devastated it and many of its inhabitants are cursed; there will be new Naga models, new male Banshees, and more.
Highmountain
is an earthy zone, focused around the Tauren. Unique, new models for Tauren exist and all the creatures, including copious Harpies and moose, are very aggressive and strong compared to usual.
Suramar
is a destroyed land with a city that remained pristine through magic--the Nightwell powered and protected it. As such, the inhabitants are addicted to its energy. Known as the Nightborne, they are allied with the legion. They exile some of their kin who become depraved lunatics without the Nightwell's support, eventually becoming withered.
There will be two raids (The Emerald Nightmare and the Palace of Suramar). Players will face Cenarius, Xavius, and a blighted dragon.
All leveling is scaled: zones can be approached at any level and will scale naturally, leading everyone to Suramar for 110. This lets the player pick their path.
There will be ten dungeons, five of which will scale and five which will be end-game.
Challenge modes are redone and will be less about rushing to completion and more about an actual challenge! There will be random buffs added to make it more challenger, e.g. periodic damage throughout the dungeon or extra damage from mobs. Gear will no longer be downscaled and there will not be gold, silver, etc ranks any longer.
