Netherlight Crucible and Artifact Knowledge Changes in the Latest 7.3 PTR Build
Last week, we previewed the
first version
of the Netherlight Crucible and
launched a calculator
here on Wowhead. Since then, the most recent PTR build has added some changes to the new relic system, as well as Artifact Knowledge scaling to 55.

Artifact Knowledge Changes in Patch 7.3
Artifact Knowledge has received many adjustments throughout Legion, and another one is on the way on the 7.3 PTR.
The Artifact Knowledge cap extends beyond 40 on the PTR, everyone's level is set to 41 automatically, and one level is gained per week--no more work orders.

Patch 7.2.5 Hotfixes for June 14th
The second batch of hotfixes for Patch 7.2.5 is up! In this round, Artifact Knowledge research is shortened to 3 hours and 36 minutes, down from 5 days. There may also be something to spend Order Resources on--5

for 5,000 Resources.

Artifact Weapons: What's New in Patch 7.2
There have been many updates to artifact weapons since we last previewed them on the 7.2 PTR, including Infinite Traits, new Artifact costs, and more! Here's our updated rundown of what's coming for Artifacts in the patch, plus a video previewing one of the new Empowered Artifact questlines:
7.2 PTR Build 23623 Artifact Knowledge Scaling, Infinite Artifact Traits, New Emissary Cache Mounts
It's time for the weekly 7.2 PTR build; here are the data changes from today's update. Big artifact updates, some mounts from Paragon reputation satchels, Relinquished items that can reward legendaries and more. has been rebalanced
and grants much more Artifact Power for rank than previously in the PTR.

Emissary Cache
will have a mount drop from it. This version of the Emissary Cache is from the Paragon version of the reward - a special "Exalted Plus" tier coming in 7.2. You get these caches on the PTR for every 20,000 rep past exalted and collecting 10 of these rewards

PTR Development Notes for Build 23578, Artifact Curve Changes, Nighthold Bosses Drop AP
Another 7.2 PTR build is on the way later today. Here's the development notes and some upcoming changes to the 7.2 Artifact Power Grind. Of particular interest in the development notes:
New content open for testing includes the
Class Mount
quests,
Cathedral of Eternal Night
dungeon, and
Broken Shore World Bosses
.
Mythic+ has received a variety of improvements such as new affixes, the removal of Overflowing, and adjustments to Artifact Power rewards. Longer dungeons now reward more AP!
Blizzard has also confirmed that their initial Artifact Knowledge and Artifact Power curves were not final in the data - the build after next should see more accurate values. Our PTR Artifact Calculator should automatically update with those values, whenever they are added.
Edit: following the Artifact Power discussion, Lore revealed that Nighthold bosses now drop Artifact Power in 7.1.5.

Now that we are a few weeks into Legion, we're highlighting some of the content which requires additional steps to unlock besides hitting max level, such as Balance of Power, Ravencrest's Legacy, some Artifact Apperances gated by Artifact Knowledge, and finishing up Suramar achievements. If you are nearly done with the Class Campaign or hunting down World Quests for upgrades, these types of content can provide something new to complete!
