Blizzard just posted a fresh round of hotfixes for 5.2.

Burning Seeds: Fire Kitty Disguise Added in Patch 5.2
During the Patch 5.2 PTR, players noticed that
Burning Seed
had been datamined, which would allow players to "harness the essence of Fire granted to the Druids of the Flame." The buff given,
Burning Essence
, explicitly stated that players turn into a Druid of the Flame while in Cat Form. This sounded exactly like the fire kitty effect granted by
Fandral's Flamescythe
, except you didn't need to farm up the staff. What was the catch?
Well, nobody knew how to get them, which has led to a heated discussion if this item ever made it to live servers. Earlier today, Community Manager Crithto
made a post
that
Burning Seed
s were in fact available in game, but
very
well hidden--nobody had reported finding them since Patch 5.2 went live over a month ago.

Q&A Highlights
Some epic battle pets are coming in 5.4.
The new Barrens content in 5.3 will not be CRZ, and will not affect low-level questing.
Think the Alliance was shortchanged on lore? Dave Kosak has some thoughts on that.
Plans are in the works for some server population issues.
Based on player feedback, the PvP Pet Battle system may continue to expand after 5.3.
While the 5.4 raid will include Orgrimmar, it won't just be recycled zones--plans will see some new stuff.
PvP questions included players asking about PvPers making gold and additional PvP rewards. They also asked about 5.3 changes, such as ilvl 496 item scaling for PvP and removing resilience from PvP gear.

in the Twin Consorts encounter now deals 5 million damage, down from 30 million damage in Raid Finder difficulty.

have had their +use effects changed only for PvP combat: they are half as potent but last twice as long.

In-Game Mistborn Tribute
Reddit members
recently discovered a very cool tribute to the Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, with

Rogues can visit
Reislek's Ghost
outside of Ravenholdt and copy his appearance using
Glyph of Disguise
while pickpocketing him.
Next, visit
Orsur
at the bottom of Ravenholdt Manor while disguised--he'll only be visible with
Charred Glyph

Extra-Dimensional Ghost Revealer
. Don't mount up when heading to him, as you'll lose the disguise.
After interacting with him, he'll give you
Survivor's Bag of Coins
and you'll get the buff

To get "coins" for your bag, pickpocket humanoids--you'll get between 1-4. Coins will display as a buff,

and can stack up to 50.
If you have the coin buff, you can propel yourself backwards around a zone without landing until you run out of coins--this can only be used outside. Simply target an area you'd like to move away from.

Patch 5.2 Hotfixes: April 10 - Throne of Thunder and Shado-Pan Assault Trinkets
Today's round of Patch 5.2 hotfixes has a lot of tweaks for bosses in
Throne of Thunder
-- most notably,
Disintegration Beam
now dissipates sooner before reaching the end of Durumu's maze.
In addition,
Brutal Talisman of the Shado-Pan Assault
and
Vicious Talisman of the Shado-Pan Assault
were overpowered in PvP and received a nerf--only during PvP combat. They'll work exactly the same during PvE content.

Patch 5.2 Hotfixes: April 9 - Durumu Maze Improvements
While a new
5.3 PTR build
just hit, Blizzard is still paying attention to 5.2 player concerns.
Durumu the Forgotten
's maze was never a player favorite, and it just got some improvements. These improvements were added to the hotfix blog on April 9th.

Blizzard just posted some Patch 5.2 Hotfixes on their US blog, as well as updated 5.3 PTR Patch Notes earlier today on their EU blog. Here's the highlights:
Horde Rebellion:
The
Horde Rebellion we noticed last week on the 5.3 PTR
is now officially in the notes and called "Quest Campaign: Escalation."
Players complete quests to support the Darkspear in rebelling against Garrosh, and destroy Kor'kron NPCs and their supply carts in the Northern Barrens.
As rewards, players get
Latent Kor’kron Armor
which can be turned into a spec-appropriate ilvl 476 epic.
Brawler's Guild:
Rank 9 and 10 bosses have been added to the Brawler's Guild. (Not in notes: Rank 10 players can purchase
Brawler's Burly Mushan Beast
on the PTR.)
Rank 8 players can access special VIP areas.

Patch 5.2 Hotfixes: March 27
Blizzard just posted a new round of 5.2 Hotfixes, including some set bonus fixes for Ferals and Brewmasters, as well as Shaman buffs.
Itoka

Strange Metal Ingot
can now be looted by multiple players--being lootable by only one player while also being a shared tap caused some difficulties this past week.
They've also clarified that the
Sprite Darter Hatchling
on the PTR was using an incorrect new model and will retain its familiar well-loved look in 5.3! While the
Enchanted Fey Dragon
looks very cool, players are attached to the old sprite darter model, especially those who did the original Alliance quest chain.

can rest assured, we do not intend to change the model you’ve come to know. There was an error with a file that caused the change, and we’ll be correcting it in future PTR build.

Item Upgrades in Patch 5.3, Oondasta's Health Reduced by 50%
Blizzard posted a huge blog on item upgrades today, in the midst of revealing their new game,
Hearthstone
at PAX East.
Here's what you need to know about item upgrades returning:
They'll be returning in Patch 5.3 at a reduced cost for PvE gear.
0
Valor Points
is needed to upgrade an item by 4 levels, instead of 0
Valor Points
as in Patch 5.1.
5.2 Justice items now require 750 Justice to upgrade per 8 item levels, for a total of 750 Justice for 8 item levels per item.
Season 12 PvP items can be upgraded, but no other PvP items for the foreseeable future. Many PvPers did not like the concept of upgrades, and there were some imbalance issues going from ilvl 483 Honor gear that was upgraded to ilvl 491 in 5.1, to ilvl 476 un-upgradeable Honor gear in 5.2.
There was also a post today stating that
Oondasta
's health was reduced by 50%--should be a bit more killable now.
