Blizzard Giving All Players 16 Legacy Points in Future Beta Build

Posted 1 hr 41 min ago by Squishei

Over the first two weeks of the WoW Forever Beta, we’ve seen an increasing number of testers pushing to earn points in the Legacy system.

In a future week of the Beta, we’re planning to grant all testers 16 Legacy points so that the system can be tested without first requiring a great deal of leveling different classes, clearing dungeons, etc.

Once applied, we expect to keep that grant in place until the end of the Beta.

Too bad for the guys that bought gold for nothing

Comment by Tudorut

Isn't this what the tryhards farmed for by leveling up N characters and also buying gold?

Did Blizzard just make all of that NULL?

Looks like a huge W for the normal players that are not P2W and Stream2W.

Great call. Let everyone fully test out the legacy trees. Hopefully they make the respecs during that time 1 silver after an hour like they did for class trees

Well played Blizzard. Well played.

These are cool but still feel the "Get 5 talent points early" is a must compared to some of the other choices

For the beta, limited to 30, a +5 talents is REALLY good.

For launch... 10% reputation increase seems like the PRIORITY.
The more rep you have the cheaper Riding and Epic Riding (Exalted with your own race faction)

Min-maxing reputation gains will overall bring a larger advantage than earlier talents

Rly good addition. Lvling up the first talent that restores 5% of your HP/Mana after each mob is huge for leveling alts. 11 Points will remain to get Talented so u can start getting them talents as of lvl 5. Definetly sounds gr8 for next set of alts comin up after patch.

I mean, the first change they should do to the legacy points is that you can't even earn your first one before you hit level 60 once.

Sure for leveling and early game it will. but once most people are 60 it will be useless, so you will swap them into other things

They should also change the Reset Price for the Beta. So we can easily test different Talents and Combinations

Comment by Nyimayad

Hope we keep additional from legacy achievement so we can beta the latest skills of the legacy tree.

Thought they were only unlocked at level 25 and we've been capped at 20 ?
Who's been earning legacy points ?

Comment by Shadovvsun
