They barely even work, what's the point?
So how does Blizzard imagine pugs? spam pings? Holy moly. Kill your game more. And yeah, they already don't work properly anymore. What is there left to restrict?
Classic blizzard, disable it now, then maybe start working on a better solution that maybe worksPull the ripcord already, all these weird limitations are making the game clunky
always trying to fix something thats not a problem yet have no solution for it if they remove it
I don't understand why they wouldn't want people to have a basic interrupt tracker or way to mark interrupt targets. Fellowship does it well, just steal that implementation.
Th is this? Seriously? How tf do u coordinate anything in a pug, huh? It's not the 2000s anymore, stop this bs, let us have these toolsEither that or dumb it down to the point it's laughable, like don't spend the interrupt unless there is something to interruptMfs
Why does blizzard actively hurt their own game, their vision is great, not needing addons to play the game, but they are not able to give the resources needed to implement things addons gave us. Give up, let the community continue to fix the game for you for free, as they've done for the last 20 years.
Based
No. Stop. This addon apocalypse was already a net negative for the game, and I don't trust Blizzard to get their own interrupt tracking feature working at the level of these addons. You cannot design bosses like Mythic L'ura and Mythic Twin Fangs and then expect players to be happy with making interrupts increasingly more frustrating to keep track of. You cannot.
Meh, doesn't really matter. Not a needed thing
Sure, get rid of kick trackers and then go ahead and remove interrupts from dungeons altogether, they're not fun.
Am I the only who's noticed that warlocks' felguard's interrupt is not being tracked by Blizzard's UI?
They should really let us track group cooldowns and interrupts within the default UI.How the fk would someone play a priest and know when to PI or if an ally's DPS cooldowns are ready? And how can we tell who messed up the interrupt? typing in game is not feasible at all and you're not gonna get in voice comms with every person you join keys with smh.
Interrupt trackers are only part of it. the apis they need to break to break that also break the more important thing. Addons like ExBoss still disambiguating casts on trash. They'll likely kill off UNIT_SPELLCAST events that idenitfy when mobs are casting at all.even though right now spell name, target, id, are all secret. As long as you know a cast happened, you can still make educated guesses based on mob level, type, etc.so the next thing to expect is probably gutting that api in 12.2 i would guess.
Whyyyyy
my raid leader keep blocking my pings anyway is there anything left in the game that not restricted at this point? at least make the ingame features work before deleting the addons.....
i don't understand the crusade against tracking party member kicks. it genuinely makes no sense to me. the only thing I can truly think of is that they're trying to hide information that could lead to toxicity or negative interactions, such as missing a kick or not using it and the player in the group getting kicked/flamed.
"fixing" a problem they created with bolt slop while also providing no solution at all for players. This dev team is the single most incompetent entity outside of the US federal government that I've ever seen.
