Ping your health bar to share your current health percentage to the group. Sadly it doesn't seem to shout "I need healing!"

Ping your resource bar to share your amount of current mana, energy, rage or other resource levels, so that overzealous tank knows its time to stop and drink.

Ping your own action bars to share cooldown information, which is helpful for knowing if a major external is available.

Relying on them to whitelist spells is a terrible system because the 2-3 interns responsible for everything are 1) out of touch and don't even know what's important/necessary, but also 2) you can't add everything and have everyone go through every single icon because it'll be too bloated. Just let us add our own spells. Also the CDM being spec and character specific with no account synchronization options is a massive PITA.Comment by HollyLamedaleI do like the idea of pinging my own spell bar to notify the tank "my big CDs are ready" -- I do sometimes type that in chat in M+ runs, this would more automate it. Little buddy knows his addon tantrum was a massive blunder, but his out-of-control ego prevents him from simply admitting that he was wrong and then reverting the terrible changes.
