I was really bothered by the portal not having a void vortex at all! Thanks for pointing that up!Edit: yeah, too soon. I can't get the swirl to work outside the edit mode :/ It feels a bit silly that the effect isn't available by default :(

The fact that they $%^ed up one of the coolest housing items and deleted the void by default seems really crazy to me. I really need to know who thought this would be a great idea....Just give us a void portal God damnit - nobody wants to use this to be ported away..

Engineers can attune some of the wormholes to not be random; i think this should get a hotfix that does the same for void users. Void Elves, Warlocks, Priests in shadow spec, DH. It'd be a fun little splash of class functionality.

I really wish interactable items like this had an option to deactivate; I want to be able to use the visual effects for decorating, not to send people into the void.Same goes for things like chairs, to be honest. I use some benches as wall trim, and accidentally clicking them can get you stuck.
This might tempt me into running the raid. I like the idea of random teleports & doing whatever old dungeon/raid happens to be in the area for tmog.

Midnight engineering wormhole is not random and does not require any specialization points. You can choose what zone to teleport to.
As far as a decor item goes, this is rather cool. But I would really like the old school portal from Hellfire Citadel, with the gasping hands coming out of it? I would do terrible things to be able to use that as my front door...or anywhere on the property really. If we ever get more than 250 for outdoor decor, like say 2500 or 5000. Real numbers to work with. My Alliance house lot is nearly entirely empty.Once Blizzard realizes that punishing their player base for playing their game in the first place is not good form, then perhaps we can get a game from them that actually encourages us to engage in material other than say, m+ dungeons? Also bringing back pet battles would go a LONG way towards cultivating soft power with your player base. Instead of being intent on BLEEDING US DRY OF EVERY LAST DIME they could focus on say rehiring a QA department or something.Lots of ideas going nowhere but the comment section.
