\World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\ICONS

You might already have files with this exact name in there, in which case you need to fully replace them.

You might also have to restart your game after doing this.

Crazy how even the so-called "top players" can't even finish a dungeon or raid without needing multiple crutches. or should we say training wheels?

As time goes on, we still have players that understand how to play an MMORPG correctly, while we also have players that will use any advantage they can find to get through things in the laziest, cheapest way possible. But in a game with race/faction changes, level boosts, content skips, special treatment for alts, and more nonsense - does it even matter anymore?

One day I hope Blizzard will say "enough is enough" and just make it do NO ADDONS can be used. NO MACROS can be used for combat. NO BOOSTS. NO RACE/FACTION CHANGES. NO SKIPS. And alts get treated like what they are - additional characters. No special privileges at all.

And then, anyone who doesn't want to play, fine. Let them go. Trying to hold onto the worst type of players is ruining the game. Let them rage quit and be done with them. Otherwise the game will suffer as we see more and more changes made solely to cater to the rush/skip/grind crowd in the vocal minority.

I wish there was more emphasis on feedback to Blizzard because the mechanic is cool conceptually.Comment by ZenwaveLast I checked the events don’t come back with any text or string of numbers can parse. The only thing they give us during a boss encounter is the event tokens themselves so have to string together /ping /yell etc in specific combinations. They also just patched some of this recently to crack down on the few add ons already achieving this by using macros. Will have to see how they were able to get this to work during boss encounter where the blizzard lock down happens.
