What was even the point anyways? All the champion gear was readily available and there's no free heroic crafting reagent at the final renown level. Extremely odd decision.

Honestly not really needed, without trying I've got most reps up to 15 already, the only exception is the harati and that's because I haven't leveled an alt doing all the sidequests yet
The faire is the biggest waste of time you can ever do in this game, scientifically proven, in my opinion.But honestly, the perks are not really worth it to me. I got my Death Metal Knight loot years ago.

The point is, same with all the time-gating, is to milk you just one more month of sub.
There is literally nothing coming out of those vendors anyways, unless fugly transmog recolours are your thing, in which case you will get it eventually, far faster than the first season end actually.
Seriously who cares.You virtually get your rep to get champion gear by just questing through the zones and completing one or two zone events, and since you get no heroic crafting token all other max renown level rewards are purely cosmetic, and you still have two years to "earn" them.
Darkmoon faire profession quests are extremely helpful to get the last skill points in the range of 95-100 as these usually cost a lot of expensive materials otherwise.Just compare these to a few copper for classic vendor mats, you don't need to be a scientist to figure this out.
