No one cares about MoP at this point. Just stop supporting this "Classic" nonsense and focus on TBC.

Would be real nice if the quest for obtaining the cloak was not bugged and actually completable

Funny how the biggest obstacle in this legendary chain is the quest deciding not to work.
Unbelievable that this has been stuck for days without a real fix.
Considering the buildup, the finale being “nothing happens” is almost poetic.
Kind of impressive how thoroughly this kills the excitement.
Yet here we are, refreshing for updates instead of progressing.
Odd how the only thing advancing is everyone’s frustration.
Ultimately, the most legendary part is the patience test.

You can also just disable MoP news in your filter

Exactly. There is only one MoP and only one TBC. And you can enjoy that content at any time on the retail realms. Retail is the only true World of Warcraft. Nothing else matters.

Maybe its fun to see MoP with the original talent trees. But after so many changes, tweaks and adjustments, it's not actually MoP anymore but something else.

There is a reason why nothing you do on "classic" realms matters and why none of it will ever be equivalent to doing so on real WoW realms.
Like, how much can you miss the talent trees to create yet another character, and one that will never, ever be able to transfer to the real thing?

I feel bad for new players that mistakenly choose one of these sort-of-but-not-really WoW realms. They are gonna be pissed when they realize they will eventually have to start from scratch in the real thing, when they find out that what they are playing on is basically the same as a random private server.

The sad thing is that players talk about it like it's the real MoP lol. But its not in any way. And the same goes for every single so-called "classic" realm, from vanilla realms to expansion realms.

Fun for a bit I guess, but if nothing counts why even bother?

Yup they have not future-proofed this at all. People who have worked their asses off are gonna either have it all taken away (because blizzard said nothing will come over to retail with them) or there'll be two versions of WoW on the same patch for no reason.
Worst of all is the fact that WoD is coming for them soon. Blizzard made a mistake going past Wrath.

On the quest itself in the database, there are some comments from people with workarounds that have worked for them, so it might be worth a look.

Those workarounds do not work. Tried every single proposed thing. Xuen and Wrathion are stuck in a Staring contest after you zone into the arena after clicking the gong and do not start the RP for the Combat to begin.

Got the caster cloak without issues on the opening day, no issues whatsoever

Focus on your own post-nerf nonsense version, and leave us to ours.

People are really invested in what version of WOW other people play, go ahead and write your essays and maybe one day realise no one values your opinion.

With mix of normal/heroic raid gear, ranged dps challenge was not that hard, maybe melee dps could try that?

It's just stand behind dragon and move out of poo. I know from raid that melee love standing in poo, but still should be doable…
