BUFF PROT PALLY WTF MOST DEATHS AND LEAST DAMAGE TANK

Comment by Turtlefromafar

Blizzard prunes everything. Increases dmg in take. What do u expect? Ion and his crew could've just made this expansion with apex talents and it'd be fine. All these chnages to make game worse. Btw my UI still resets randomly and i literally am using default UI.

Comment by ashieqtx

surely that will get more people to play tank

Comment by Unknowiii

We 4 tanked heroic paladins because the DPS check was non existent. Tanks dying ? Just throw more tanks at the problem !

Comment by Karael

I'm so glad that the recent buffs to our survivability (ww monks) had a measurable impact that is reflected in the raid. Keep up the good work balance team!

Comment by TOMRUS

This raid is overbloated with overtuned mechanics, tank ones included which results in extreme amount of oneshots we have never seen before.

These WoW devs should be ashamed and embarrassed that they allowed this to happen.

M+ next week is not going to be any different.

Bring massive 50% across the board nerfs to all player damage taken or season flops in 3...2...1...

Also they lied about raid and dungeons to be designed playable without addons, they are still need addons just as much as before but addons are no longer able to fix terrible game design these incompetent selfish and ignorant WoW devs shove upon us...

Comment by Daviddicks

people are either new or bad , can happen , that is going on wtf are those articles XD

Comment by Daviddicks

definettly know what kind of players feel normal or heroic is overtuned ( ok maybe p2 Alleria HC is overtuned tbh ) ...
also its week 1 XD relax , for example you can legit solo survive normal lightchampions as prot warrior for ages if the other tank dies

Literally all you do is hit the taunt button the second you see the Judgment cast bar. It's no different than other multi hit tank busters they've constantly used the past 2 expansions.

Comment by Tastelikelemon

Tanks are getting decimated , starting even from something as simple as M+0 dungeons , one can see there are some spells that are shredding them with defensives and externals on top and its even worse in heroic raids where before one taunt mistake was tolerable , but now its hard punished by 1 shot no matter externals nor defensives on top. This level of punisment alongside that tanks cant call for externals via addons is total nightmare for them which is going to demotivate them heavily , then it will take heavy toll on healers that are trying to save them adding a sense of uselesness to their unability to save them properly...Blizz pretty much destroyed the game with this expansion...

Comment by renofierce

Wow. Who could've expected nerfing tanks and putting some really weird taunt swaps in the raid was gonna make tanks die a lot? Shocker

Comment by Daviddicks

Must suck for people not having their hands held anymore by addons , unfortune

You wrote a lot of words to cover up the main point, Squshei. The content is not harder.

Addons were allowing low skill people into higher skill content than they deserved to be in. Now that people are being forced to rely on their own reactions and awareness, they're garbage. Tanks die more because they were more often low skill players relying on addons to fulfill a "team player" role where their actual rotational performance and throughput wouldn't be called into question. Many guilds put their worst melee into the tank role because they knew it is the most babysat by addons and weakauras.

Everything from the LFG tool to feedback blizzard receives to wowhead comments is tainted by the fact that there are people who had the game played for them, who think they're the same as people that played the game for real. Sadly, we've given these same removed things like the one button rotation or rotation assist -- I do not think we should be encouraging the lowest common denominator, I would restrict that feature to "veteran content only" to ensure low-skill mongos know which instances they should not even be trying to enter.

As these people fail more, they'll eventually lose interest in the game, unsub and drift away. This is what we all want and need. Much like any other form of fraud or corruption, when you take away their freebies they'll first cry, then beg, then sulk away. And when they do, completing top-end content will become slightly more meaningful, as one layer of "cheaters" will finally be gone.(##RESPBREAK##)0##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##Inappropriate terminology removed.

It's not complicated at all. Once we (me & my co-tank) figured out we could taunt during the cast time, we killed the boss. It's literally the only mechanic on heroic that poses any kind of threat.

But blizzard is balancing worthless tank damage, because oh no people abuse guardian and dps wings in m0s, while tank survivability is in complete shambles i feel like complete clueless monkeys work in that company at the moment practically only brew feels good to play and maybe pwar. Anyone playing ppala is practically trolling with that tunning unless they are actually insanely good.

I’ve been playing tank since Season 3 of Shadowlands, but I’ve now had to stop due to the recent changes to WeakAuras and addon sound packs like BigWigs Voice, which I relied on heavily.

Since these changes, I’m finding the game significantly harder to play. Tanking in particular has become much more difficult without access to the audio cues I depended on. After all these years, I’ve reached a point where I feel I can’t continue, as it’s extremely challenging for me as a dyslexic player to keep track of what’s happening without those tools. The current in-game or replacement sound alerts simply aren’t effective enough to compensate.

-.-

And to think y'all asked for this

Comment by KYZ123

But I thought they were going to design encounter mechanics around there being no addons/weakauras?

This is going to be a meme tier while Blizz realises they do actually have to make mechanics more lenient if they're killing off addon-based reminders.
