Honestly have not been digging professions since Dragon flight. Things are just way too time consuming considering I have way too much to do already with raiding, dungeons, prey, housing, renown grinds, and way more. I don't have time to grind out materials from an astronomical amount of sources and traveling just to make a few flasks. TBC had it the best. Gather a couple different herbs, get a vial, and craft. Profs should be as easy as cooking. But they're not. Used to love Alchemy with herbing but it's just a pain in the butt to do any of that anymore. While back, all we had outside of raids and dungeons were rep and prof farming. But with so many things outside of raids and dungeons available and more fun to do, not enough time to go around for all the things in the game and just doesn't seem like time is being respected in this regard. Def switching to tailor/enchant and just passively get mats and sell those for flasks/potions. Just don't have time time to dedicate to these massive knowledge trees that is the biggest time sink in the game which requires massive hours of farming unless you're using a bot or you're not doing all the other activities missing out on the game. That or you are not employed. Working 50 to 60 hours a week leaves time for eating dinner, playing for a couple hours, and logging off for the night. Days off, adulting is being done. Professions need a rework to make them massively simpler to do and level up in my honest opinion.
Good lol I kinda messed up.
Hopefully along with throwing fused vitality to trash bin where it belongs
Professions require way too much effort and investment (both time and gold) while you barely get any profits from them. This is shame...
The main annoying part of the proffs is the rank system and skill system. Your forced to stack points into certain areas just to be able to make a R5 item with all the works. Thats fine and all but it limits your personally ability to do ANYTHING else worth while with ur proff. Its a bad system when people are making alts with the same proff just to make R5 items for there mains. Its really just the rank system that makes it feel bad.
Yay, I will be able to play my skinner and farm Majestic mats like everyone else because I made the mistake of not using a website to tell me where to put my points! :P
I really hope they add this soon. In a perfect world everyone would be able to gather and select two crafting professions… alts suck.
I wish they would kill profession gear, way too strong to ignore while being way too expensive if you don't swipe or do boring farming content.
Oh thank god. I made a horrible mistake with one prof and I can't actually level thanks to blizz making it absolutely horrid to level some profs...Thought seriously, if THIS is needed, you know you done messed up profs. This isn't fun for the game. Fix it. Make it fun and less slog. I don't are how, but we should be able to max ALL PROFS using trainer recipes.
Good, i need to fix some bad decisions. On topic of professions design, i get steady income every major patch with post-df design without going too deep in goldmaking bigbrain strats, so I def like this. Just optimize your build for predicted demand, invest and do private orders from chat. Just a few orders are enough to cover the initial investement if done right. But sometimes you can completely miss with your predictions on what will be in demand, that's where reset comes handy...
My skinner is happy.
imb*cilesprofession specialization reset? definitely! how come they always added something useful late it should have been in DF the option they added in TWW is sh*t reset should be possible at least once per idnew currency for reset? absolute crap even if it's from data mining just the thought is ridiculous seriously who in Blizzard is so horny for currencies that we have so many of them every patch? In short, a very important thing added too late and likely to be published in a #$%^&ic way. The judgment is a failure.
