I hope sparks are going to be weekly with costs doubling

Comment by Yaschid

Pretty sure this will get fixed...

Comment by Droganuv

Does the first week have the freebie like usual so that you can craft 1 item right away?

There has always been a "acquire 1 fragment" quest that then awarded you with a 2nd fragment and thus 1 spark to craft with.

The equivalent now would be a quest to acquire one spark that awards you with a 2nd spark to then be able to craft one item.

because your reset is tomorrow. Like most things EU is 1 day later.

Comment by sinestra139

This must be the weekly cache quest that rolls over with the reset. So Weds for EU. Presumably you only get a spark if you’re level 90. That would be helpful to know. Also does it include a cache with veteran gear or is that not til the season start. Details Squishei… more details needed.

US site posts regarding US circumstances. Its always how its been we just have to wait until reset.

I think that Arcantina quest will soon be nerfed or removed. It does not sound fair at all and like someone screwed up at Blizzard implementing this when the 3 others takes way more time than 1 minutte. Something is not right here.

From what I recall was stated, there are no longer fragments. It has to do with the removal of the valorstones we used to combine the fragments, no more valorstones, so we just get a whole spark. We would get one half of a spark (fragment) per week in DF and TWW. Now, we get a spark every two weeks. So this spark for this week represents the two fragments or the usual crafting spark scenario we had all through DF and TWW.

I will assume we have to be 90 to get these weekly quests and as well have to have completed the campaign?

EDIT: I looked it up and it is just that we no longer need to use the valor stones to combine them anymore, all recipes use two 'sparks' or four 'sparks' is how they went with crafting. Its just a play on language with no longer needing to form them into a 'full spark' with the use of valorstones.

Yes, this is all known. But now it will take 2 sparks to craft one item (or 4 per 2h weapon), so it will be the same as needing 2 fragments (minus the valorstones)

So now instead of one fragment per week, we get 1 spark per week but crafting costs double. So my question is, will we get 2 sparks on week one the same way we used to get 2 fragments on week one.

I don't actually have this available on my 90, no blue quests in the city. Am I missing something? US server.

Comment by qaccy

This can be a quick quest, provided there are other players to toast. But with Blizz 'fixing' the key to not be a quick port back to Silvermoon anymore, the number of players coming through has dropped precipitously (should tell you how players feel about the area in general). Depending on your server and what time you play, you may have to actually join a group to find players or you could be waiting for a while.

Comment by inafume

There is a "tour the world" quest doing the different zone events that looks to be a one time quest, and it gives a spark.

Comment by ligersRcool

Do I have to complete each map to see the weekly? I have Sojourner of Eversong Woods and Zul'Aman and just starting quests in Harandar? is this also reason I can not see any World/daily quests? Right now there is no weekly quest giver in the tent in silvermoon city

The fuk do you need 2 sparks for on week 1? You will have 3 for heroic week and 4 for mythic week as it is?

She's not showing up to start the Unity quest.

you can toast drink on same person three times

Comment by Stormfire99

Yes almost EVERYTHING is gated behind the campaign. You need the achievement you get that is simply called "Midnight" that you get when you complete the main story in all four zones (in addition to being 90)
