Questionable use of retroactive in this article. Retroactive to a future thing that hasn't happened yet? That's a fairly unorthodox phrasing.For it to be truly retroactive would mean all the lumber I harvested since housing's launch counts towards the achievements. It doesn't sound like that'll be the case if they weren't tracking anything before this change. So, I'll probably only earn Midnight's right away and deal with the others down the road.

I’d love something to accelerate the gathering process. You can’t buy it on the AH, so lumber feels a lot like a time sink if you’re only getting 1-3 per node.
The real question is why you need to clear an achievement for mounted gathering when it could just be normal. You are getting basic QoL. It isn't even a sense of progression.
While a nice gesture by Blizzard, this doesn't really help those of us that have already gathered hundreds (if not thousands) of pieces of lumber already.
Yeah, is this like the fact that the game should have been able to track troops recruited from our Legion order halls? Cos of course this is going to work retroactively (lol NOT!)
You cant track, but it count when you farm lumbers?
