The
Isle of Giants
is home to many savage creatures. Among them are the tenacious
Direhorn
s, who answer only to the equally dangerous
Zandalari Dinomancer
s, and attack hapless adventurers on sight.

Determined Hunters can procure an
Ancient Tome of Dinomancy
from the Zandalari in the
Isle of Giants
and learn their secrets, allowing them to tame
Direhorn
s. The tome has a low drop rate, so it may take a few kills to obtain it. Once read, it will grant the Hunter

Direhorns are quite tough indeed. However, their special ability
Reflective Armor Plating
while useful, only applies against effects used directly on your pet by enemies (so no hiding behind your direhorn to dodge mechanics!)
But Direhorn pets weren't the only thing added recently to Mists of Pandaria Classic. Our diligent dataminers have also uncovered the curious
Embers of Al'ar
. How one would obtain it at this point is anyone's guess. Maybe related to the upcoming re-release of TBC Classic on the Anniversary Realms?
