No need your faction to have contorl of the zone, just have to be careful if opposute faction shows up with full force.
Ran around for an hour, got six of one, five of another, and one of a third. Spent about half the time sniping Madfeather, the rest just flying around killing the many other rares. The minimap icon disappears after you kill each one the first time, but they can still drop more decor.
Just did this early in the morning when no one else was around and all rares were up. Collected all 4 decors in about 15 min.
Why is this not of the Decor farming page of the housing guide? I never knew there were drops from rares...

I so dislike farming old content for new things.
Still think housing is a waste, and will keeping saying so until is has meaningful content and not just a wastefull attention grab.Battle pets add more to the game loop then housing does.Still hate the system and still letting you all know.
Thank goodness I farmed mine before Wowhead posted this. I imagine its going to be a bit of a zoo over there now. Yuck.
