Its more about stam tho. cus even if you have 999 vers you still can die in a high key, so the more stam you have the easier it is
I don't see a point in trying to solo a +49, it would take almost the entire time no matter what wouldn't it? I also don't see it happening for most people unless they go crazy and make IP account-wide for the last month of this thing and you can really grind out the versatility and also have the ability to use whatever class you've leveled up. I've only been going hard (but not that much) on a Demon Hunter to solo things but I can see how it might be better on a Death Knight or Paladin for some instances and I just don't have it in me to grind out the gear and versatility again. I'm already tired of the raids, I don't want to do the sentinaxx farming. I don't think they'll be super cool and do something like double/triple drops in catch-up season or make IP farming account-wide or anything except jack up the bronze rates, but it sure would be nice if they did.

How do I scrap the motes? It says I can't when I go to Erus.
The problem isn't even strictly incoming damage, it's the unavoidable stuns and locks that a solo player cannot normally avoid or get out of. Some can be cheesed using creative mechanics, but some cannot.
there are several people boosting free 49+ so just keep an eye on that dungeon lfg avoid the m+ boosters advertising rmt or gold
Who want to spend 30 minutes in a solo key? Farm your vers WAY up before you try. I found 400 vers to be much more comfortable when solo-ing the lower keys. The time goes down to 10 minutes.

Does anyone have any tips on quickly increasing item level? I’ve been playing since phase 2 (admittedly not a whole lot) but I’m still at item level 660-ish. It feels way slower than MoP remix to me.
Those recommendations are ridiculous.At +49 keys there are several abilities that will oneshot you if you do not have any invulnerability available even maxed out at 999%, not even talking about the recommended "600%",.So sure, playing the right class and getting the right key is obviously much more important here than the power itself. But solo playing up to a 49 key will take ages, getting a brick key like eye of azshara where the "shared" damage ability will just onehit even tanks using cooldowns, or maw of souls that you won't get down in a single phase and Helya heals up to 80% every time will just stop your progress for the entire id.There is absolutely no point in trying to get that solo, when in a 5 player group the bosses die so fast that their abilites don't even matter while not even having remotely the same versatility requirements.
