Wowhead's Decor Database

There are many ways for players to collect Housing decor in World of Warcraft. One of these ways is through completing achievements. Players can earn a decor from achievements from myriad activities and many of these may have been earned already throughout your time in Azeroth.

Some achievements award decor once (and again, only once per account) and then unlock the ability to acquire more copies elsewhere. To purchase additional copies of that item you’ll need to earn the achievement first. Some items are trophies and you’ll only be able to earn one, but they often will have alternate versions available for purchase if you want to expand on your home’s trophy display such as with the Head of the Broodmother. f the player wants additional copies after earning the achievement, the goblin innkeeper Axle in Mudsprocket will sell the player a Definitely Real, Not At All Fake Head of the Broodmother that may not be real but when used as decor is indistinguishable.

If we didn't stockpile things back in the day we'll have trouble buying what we want without engaging in that content again. If we didn't stockpile things back in the day we'll have trouble buying what we want without engaging in that content again. That's not very rewarding.Comment by donmarkerThis system is an enormous disappointment. Unlocking items and then buying them has been the standard throughout WoW history i.e. rep items. The current system of not unlocking the item in a library and then getting to freely use it is supremely unnecessary and greedy - I can't fathom any other reason than it somehow being tied into the cash shop currency.
Time will tell but the fact that they're limiting us like this means a lot of players, myself included, will skip this content. We might certainly be a minority and yeah yeah, "cry me a river, can I have your stuff" and all that even those enthused by this should be concerned with artificial limitations.
