I think it's better to advertise this buff as a means to get around Argus fast because you get like 1-2 bronze per, it's !@#$.

Comment by Nurmat

Pointless activity, same as looting mobs in dungeons/raids, they only drop 1 bronze.

Damn Wowhead....

people still need bronze motes?

Comment by Daillemand

I did 3 fast Antorus run with my non Remix alts and I got every tiers Mythic set, saving me maybe 300k bronze. So i don't need those 1-2 bronze/mote grind

Well, there is an issue there: The Remix Ensemble items de-couple the sets from the class for transmog. While most of the sets do have off-set pieces, they are not 100% complete, especially not every version. The Ensembles give you all 4, full sets, only locked to armor type, not class. This part is NOT going to be part of the "Collect the highest tier, and unlock the rest" that is changing in 12.0 for transmog collecting. If you want to use any other sets, even if you have the highest unlocked, you need to get the off-set version drops in Retail, to be usable by alts who share armor type.

And nobody is doing it via these grinds. This is mentioned specifically for doing the Infinite Research for collecting motes. If you are out to get Bronze, you are doing Raids and Researches for the payout from those.

I'm often just ignoring the clickbaity article but like.

No %^&* shirlock? Whats next you make an article and players discover you can press W to walk forward?

This is dumpster tier posting and I hope whomever wrote it trips over the air as they fall safely onto their nice freshly made bed :) (I'm not that mean come on its just an article, but also come on guys do better)

Typical nonsense comments from the ‘durr - I knew that so everyone else must know that so why you post stuff I know’ zzzz brigade.

Well I’ve done all the Argus content now apart from the greater invasion archives which still need a few more days. I’ve got all the achievements inc the hidden ones and I only need another quick 100k or so to buy the last few transmits.

And yet with all that I didn’t know that’s how those things work! I’d run over them a few of times and assumed I just got a bronze and that was it - didn’t spot / know about the buff and that it makes more motes appear. And I had been avoiding the bronze motes infinite research Qs as I thought you can’t pick it off in Argus. So this has been useful to me to learn. And given how much time I’ve spent in Argus I’m pretty sure there must be plenty of others who didn’t know this who haven’t gone there yet or haven’t spent as much time there because of I dunno life and stuff.

Comment by PleegWat

The one time I tried, these motes did not count for clear the skies.

people still need bronze motes?

I haven't even started yet so yes.

Comment by rubenfrim

I think they are better for getting around without aggro than for getting bronze tbh....

Comment by Grissu

ads farming level master. I miss the times when posts on wowhead was actually about something important. Now I'm not waiting for the new posts like I was to.

Not every single person has the time to play all the time and not every single person sits in their basement and stuffs their brain with this kind of information. Do better.

Comment by Himea

Might be important to note that you need to be unmounted or nothing happens. Also the amount of bronze you get from these is pathetic; better to get around than for the bronze.

Comment by AzraelUltima

Nah, it's a good way to get around fast; it's much faster than mounts and it turns all mobs neutral. But it's worthless to collect bronze.

Anything new to pilgrims bounty this year ?

but it's not like it was hidden information. you run over the goblin and you read the buff description. it'll be more work to find this "article" in 2 days time when it gets buried under a dozen more pointless articles.

oh, i forgot, this is the player base that needs an addon to tell them when to press a button, or when to move out of aoe. silly me.

Comment by dblanch369

They don’t count towards the infinite research quest for what is, normally, flying thru them to collect.

Comment by Viktoria

If you want to get around fast(er) on Argus, you could consider upgrading your Flight Master's Whistle at Toraan the Revered (Argussian Reach Emissary aboard the Vindicaar) by purchasing Krokul Flute. This allows you to teleport to the nearest Lightforged Beacon when you use the whistle.
