Thank you for this, love this well documented lore bits in preparation to Midnight! I am curious to see how they will deal with the "reunification of the elven tribes" thing that Metzen announced. I hope they will do that in interesting ways.
Neat, thank you.
So basically, she's done nothing of significance except get knocked up and play Desperate Housewives.
I really enjoyed this recap of lore and story for Vareesa. That conversation between Alleria and Vereesa in Shadowlands, oof...the reading got very blurry for some strange reason.
Great work, but I am tired of the Windrunner sisters' storyline. WoW feels like World of Windrunners in terms of story; Blizzard should use more other characters for their world's main lore. But, I insist, great work.
Where are her twins now?
Veressa has ALWAYS been my main crush since the beginning. And we all miss Rhonin so freaking much! I wish we could bring him back because they never found a body after Garrosh used the mana bomb at Theramore. I still rock her pvp gear set (I think it's called Brutal Galdiator?) so awesome.Vereesa - love this character!
Ah yes, the "lame" sister
The Sunreavers weren't involved with the Divine Bell at all, and the only traitor (to the Kirin Tor) was Thalen Songweaver who was ironically recommended to go to Theramore by Rhonin. The Sunreavers were also loyal to the Kirin Tor first and foremost before Vereesa's genocide as evidenced by the fact Aethas Sunreaver voted both for the Kirin Tor to defend Theramore (breaking neutrality in favour of the Alliance way, way before the Sunreavers "allegedly" did) and to make Jaina the new leader of the Kirin Tor. They weren't "Horde" as such before they were forced to be by Vereesa's crimes, who explicitly aligned herself with the Alliance from minute one of her introduction.Basically she was a bigoted psychopathic mass murderer but her husband died entirely of his own fault (he decided to go into a warzone and intervene in a conflict he had no business being in) so we're supposed to feel bad for her or something.
ugh, can't wait till these sisters are out of the picture.... dealing with sylvanas and now alleria, in comes vereesa to continue the annoying world of windrunner obsession -_-
Going to nitpick - Vereesa was not the first of the sisters to appear by name (although maybe by full name?). Alleria was a unit in Warcraft II.
"While Jaina initially rejected the Alliance's request for the Kirin Tor to join the Kirin Tor"Typo in the article. Aside from that, it was thorough and filled in gaps on the lore I didn't know about.
Ah, the irrelevant, whiner Windrunner sister.
As irritating and Alliance-fanatic as ever, aren't you, Vereesa? That's why Alleria is my favorite Windrunner; she's the most moderate and has the broadest view of the two sisters when it comes to factions. As for Sylvanas... need I say why I haven't liked her since Battle for Azeroth?
I still can't get over how ugly the art was in that Windrunner comic.
Wellcome to Crycraft.
