- They must heavily restrict multiplicative damage, especially from aspects and uniques, so there's more reason to get different gear and not just the usual suspects. (All content must be rebalanced around that, of course.)

- Transformative effects should be moved to the skill tree and paragon board, so gearing isn't so focused on key funcionalities and more options become available.

- Damage scaling sources should be better distributed among the skill tree, the paragon board, items and other systems. Some if not all should be customizable, so not only this or that skill is benefits from that scaler.

The rest would be power balancing between classes and builds, which is a whole different beast and never really something that can be tuned to absolute perfection. But having these base changes could lay the foundations to a system that's much easier to balance.Comment by houseofsrakaThank you for making a Reddit post into yet another article here on WoWHead!
