On my shaman right now, and there is Mail Specialization is working just fine.
No cloth specialization as mage.
It's red on my hunter, deleting and restoring my character did not fix.

As Praelia said, no specialization on Priest either. Cant remember if cloth wearers had a specialization since its the only armor type we can wear, but there's nothing in my spellbook at all about armor.
Mail spec text is red on my hunter, but it still adds the 5% agility. You can verfiy it by unequipping an item. If you lose way more than the amount on the item, your armor spec works. Seems like a display bug, at least for my char.

For the cloth classes saying "I don't have cloth spec" you never had it, its the only armor type you can wear so you have your own 5% int buffMage - WizardryWarlock - NethermancyPriest - Mysticism
I have several toons with the "Requires Mail" (et al) in red text, but manual calculations show it to still be applied. However, none of my cloth toons have the specialization listed at all, and manual calculations show it to NOT be in effect. Hope this helps!

I remember reporting it back on beta. Would have imagined it was fixed ages ago if it werent for multidollar Blizzard

I have noticed it on my hunter before the "GREAT SERVER MIGRATION OF '25." So it has been happening since before the migration.
Between addon bugs, missing or corrupted files, I said the hell with it 5 minutes after migrating. Couple weeks later, not sure I really care enough now to try and figure it out anymore.
Zirezee is too busy buffing mages to be spending time on such minor issues.
