See ya later add-ons! Don't let the door hit ya on the way out!
alot of those aren't even combat, they are convenience/qol
Wow, I'm so glad break timers are gone. WoW is saved!
Pretty sure a few of the ones you mention are just broken atm. Give it time and quit fear mongering.
The thing I'm mostly upset/concerned about is that we were flat out lied to, unintentionally or not, when we were told that things would be rolled out slowly, not "ripping the band-aid off". As the WA team said, this is most definitely ripping the band-aid off.
Really hope they laser target the *combat* side of things as the alpha goes on. It seems like a lot of completely non-combat addons are gonna be caught in the crossfire here.
Nerfing quality of life addons is going to help with boss design?I have never lost hype for something faster than I have the last few days seeing the design choices for Midnight.
This is hilarious. some Fox News level Fearmongering right here.
NO GAMBLING ADDONS? Unplayable, how i suppose spend time during raid breaks if i don't need pee pee? D:
Just cancelled my sub. Blizzard has until January to convince me to reup. Once it's gone, it's gone.I find myself more excited at the money I'll be saving from not buying anything wow-related than I am about Midnight. And that is telling.
How to step back on 21 years.I play the UI more than the game, I'm here for the customization, creating animated UIs till more than a decade.I understand addons can be so helpful in high-end content but Blizzard just block massive functions under secret values even in open world. Isn't the good way. What was one of the game's greatest strengths will become one of its cruelest jokes. My sub go til Dec 2025, then I stop.
This is just way too much, holy !@#$.No more breaks ? No more loot management ? No more chat reading ? No more notes sharing ? Damn ...
So are deaf and hard of hearing players ultimately screwed?
The people that do casual open world content are weirdly so happy for these changes
pull the ripcord ion we're gonna crash!fr though i can see them coming up with inhouse solutions for these over time because people will absolutely throw a fit over certain of those.
