I think based on the name alone, it's pretty clear we're not going to "win" this expansion... especially when you factor in the traditional hero's journey arc, when things have to get so bad they appear to be hopeless. As such, I'm assuming we won't be winning 12.0, either.
Yawn. Hire better writers, Blizz.
hm, legendary bow from alleria possible?
What I think will happen is that everyone dies at the end of Midnight and:- A Microsoft logo pops up and says "WoW has reached its end of support date, please consider upgrading to WoW 2 to continue playing"Or- We go back to Shadowlands (remastered)Or- Blizzard says "that's all folks, thanks for sticking around with us for all those years" and shuts down the servers for goodOr- Someone was soul-stoned before everyone died, that person resses and proceeds to res everyone else in the Warcraft universe and the storyline therefor continues
Perfectly happy offing yet another Windrunner (the sudden unknown brother when?), but Loth? I mean, i would definitely like to explore the Light as a zealoty "bad guy" just for a different take, but why Loth? I liked Loth. 😭
"Lightblinded Vanguard" ok Blizzard. We get it. You don't have to hit us in the head with a hammer so hard to make your point. The Light isn't all good. It can be used for bad things. We get it! Lol.
Wait, so the penultimate void elf is going to lose her voidness? It's almost like everyone said the race was a bad idea and told her not to do it because it would never work out.Hmmmmm. HMMMMMMM.
gonna be an aweome few fights i'm excited
I really hope Lothraxion is a case of too much zeal, not him turning out to be a double agent. For one, it's a very bad disguise (most dreadlords are disguised when they infiltrate a group), and two, he's a far more interesting character if he's sincerely a follower of the light. Don't wreck the character, guys! Also i can summon him whenever i'm in Legion zones so it will be pretty awkward if he dies or turns out to be evil.
A dark Naaru in a Sunwell raid -- haven't we seen this story before?
Wouldn't really consider any of these people Major characters. They're unique in their story but they're not major. They were in the game for a minute 10 years ago.Lothraxion might have some extra lore to him in the background but bro is just an Legion order hall follower. He's nothing more. And literally nobody cares about L'ura, sorry. We defeated her once as a corrupted dungeon boss and it might be the reason why Alleria got her powers.. but it's now free and now doubly corrupted? uh, okay.
Maybe Lothraxion is so lost in the Light sauce he forgot his initial purpose and now serves The Light wholly. The concept that The Light can "Corrupt" any force to serve them without question would be a really fun story to explore.
