so glad we have lawn decorations so i can make my plot look like a blight on the neighborhood
To me it’s all going to appear very small and insignificant until we actually have the system at which point it will probably be rather cozy :)
Personally, I would like the ability to move the pieces without them being static. Still, this is much better than no customization at all! I also hope we can paint our rooftops, walls, etc. To heck with HOA, if I want a pretty pink house then let me have it
I hope we get some druid-themed buildings.
If we're getting Lawn Decorations, I want to have one of the Tol'virs' Triangle Wall Fountains.
I have a feeling this will be extremely underwhelming compared to the hype around it.

The current housing restrictions due to the neighbourhood system aren't worth it. Blizz really need to look into making private fully free-rein housing instances available, not just the minimum-player-requirement shared neighbourhood cookie cutter plot and prefab house system they're going with. The underlying system for free decoration placement and movement is already there, and the underlying system of giving every player a fully private instance is also there, now they just need to make it happen.Because in ESO and GW2, you can get a whole zone (either for yourself or for your guild) where you can build a custom tower, or a floating airship, or a forest with a bunch of tents and cottages, or a palace, or a whole seaside market town, or whatever else you may wish to build. GW2's new housing instance this year gets a house fully built from individual furnishing pieces so you can take it all off or rebuild it in any shape you like. WoW's housing has object resizing which neither ESO nor Swtor have; and more furnishing styles than GW2 had at launch; and it's more accessible than FF, so the potential for offering something truly excellent is there - and this should not be held back by the limitations that this shared-neighbourhood-only iteration puts on it. The tools are already there for this system to be more than Group Garrisons With A Prefab Barbershop, so I really wish Blizzard would give us more freedom to choose to play housing the way we'd like.

Looks good 💯, but we need to acknowledge that we are only getting this thing, because they know they ...ed up and now they need to scramble their resources and pull out a PR facelift! That said, I hope to hear more about ALL systems, not just Housing.I miss the regular Q&A sessions with Ion! I hope they bring them back! 🙏They are a win/win!
This is really shaping up to be the best housing system across mmos. Kinda easy considering they can see what others don't do right and fix it lol.
But what do you do there? What reason is there to ever return to your housing? You just go there and… look at it? I must be missing something because I don’t understand what the point is.
Kinda wish we'd get some Kul'tiran style houses, like the ones from Drustvar :D
