The War Within Mythic+ Tier List Disclaimers and Sourceincomplete picture of balance

Specs considered underpowered are generally played less and tend to appear weaker than they are.

This happens as many performance-oriented players tend to play the strongest spec or class, increasing the gap between top and bottom specs even further.

Since all metrics shown deal with popularity, they aren't directly attached to spec balance, but to community perception of spec balance.

Why else would you honestly do them? For fun?

It's an absolute time and gold sink to farm M+. You get no gold from it and absolutely dismal loot chance. Of course people do 8x10s per week for 3 Myth track vault slots.

yet people complain its a loot pinata -_- there is no pleasing anyone because everyone just wants to complain.
Also i love m+ pushing 14s rn

Once you get 3k rating there isn’t a lot of reasons to do more than you need for GV. So becomes a bit of a weekly chore.
Main reason I do more is to help guildmates and for the social/fun.
I realise a lot of people seem to do M+ as a solo activity though, and just pray for good team mates 😅

^
Why would I waste time above 3k? Title is around 19-20s, thats a huge gap vs 3k (for mount), to get there 14-15-16-17s sounds %^& timewasters. I rather play alts after 3k, do AH for "free" gametime and ditch 2-3 months into the patch and come back for the next one another 3 months later.

I never really enjoyed m+ honestly I just do it for the mounts and weekly vault since I'm no longer interested in raiding. I'm probably in the minority but I kind of wish they'd just go back to no mounts from m+ and ditch the fomo.

Filling vault for mythic gear and the following week for more crests to get higher gear to do higher keys?

+2 pugs with brand new m+ players somehow tend to even go worse than pugging +10s, we're talking about players who don't understand do-not-stand-in-fire mechs even after a 100 wipes

I tried to heal (yeah, foolish me!) a +2 Eco-Dome in a random PuG. We wiped three times on first boss despite me explaining how to do those SIMPLE mechanics. Worst of it was, all the range DPS would spread far out around the boss and stay at their MAX range, out of my range to heal and on top of that, won't bother using any defensives or self heal and of course the adds would be leaping all over and staying alive far too long.

If people wonder WHY Healers are hard to come by in LFG, specially in lower keys, well... I am not alone to have that experience and now I would either join a group after checking their ratings even in lower keys or just list mine and pick and chose as I please.

Because casuals don't know mechanics.

If people don't like doing something, no amount of loot would entice them to do it.

For example, I hate PvP and no loot will get me to PvP.

There are tons of kids in the morning who que up for M+ 0 and 2's without a single clue as to how to actually make it work. They cant get away with just pushing a bunch of buttons anymore even though that got them through normals and possibly HC. A big red flag for your early keys in the morning are tons of relatively good geared people that have no score at all applying for your 0 and 2 keys. I would rather take a lwoer geared person and take my chance they are decent than take an over geared o score.

It has been my experience that runs in the mornings in the lower brackets are filled with kids who have no idea. Nor do they care. They just want the gear and dont care. They are usually the ones who say Sum pls......while standing 15 yards away from the portal.
