Devour will have two main playstyles: Midranged will be fighting to maintain longer Metamorphosis, but there will be another style around dashing in-and-out of melee range.
This second playstyle won't focus around min-maxing your Metamorphosis.

Player Housing

Housing will have different visitor settings. One that allows no visitors, or you can select if only guildmates can visit, only friends, or if everyone can enter your house. The choice is yours.

You'll be able to purchase multiple heads of Onyxia from a vendor in Mudsprocket after you obtain your first one. The vendor swears they are real.

Encounter Design

Their new approach to encounter design, which will arrive at raids with Midnight, can be first seen with Eco-Dome Al'dani.

How much will this second head of Onyxia cost me? 500 gold? Per head? What about the chairs I want to use? 50 gold per chair? The lights in my house? 50 gold per light?

Where will the Gold MTX end with the new housing system?

I guess my "House" will be decorated like my first apartment. A bed, and a couch. No lights, No chairs. No windows. Because it'll cost more and more and more gold just to be able to have them.

In other dungeons you have to deal with the various mechanics combo depending on the combat time, where in Eco-Dome, you just deal with the variants of a single mechanics one at a time.

In my opinion, it's sweet to have around 2 easy dungeons per season like Eco-Dome, but all eight dungeons with no wipe risk? I'm not sure how that feels to people focusing on Mythic+ content. Maybe pulling adds into Boss will be more popular even in +10/+12 pug given how easy the boss is, which sounds good; it's boring and inefficient to do Single Target boss encounter for 2+ minutes, and +12 pug will experience more adds into Boss encounter in the future.Comment by 2550147That's cool and all, but can I get the old paintings that you turned into fruit?exactComment by saiadarYay... HOWEVER, that being said, I also think the devs swung that pendulum way too far. FFIV .. unapologetically adult game. Can't we just swing that pendulum back a bit?
